The agreement covers: • Capacity building • Coaching visits (Heathens coaches going to Ntare) • Support for the school’s rugby programme (exact details still limited) For Heathens: • This strengthens their grassroots and school rugby pipeline • Gives them a strong presence in Western Uganda (Ntare is a rugby powerhouse in school competitions). • Continues the trend of Heathens forming strategic partnerships (they already have one with @Abashwekyi FC, the @ntare_league side). For Ntare School: • Direct access to coaching expertise from Uganda’s most successful club (record Premiership winners). • Better structured rugby development for their students. • Stronger pathway for talented boys into top-level club rugby. This is the kind of club–school partnership that can produce long-term results for Ugandan rugby, especially if it’s properly implemented with regular coaching visits and clear development programmes.
