We wanted to make sure people who qualified for the WL had enough time to mint without over allocating. To this day, we have not added new people to this whitelist to be fair and transparent. There is a tough decision we need to make but one that is the best for all Rare Friends. The remaining 48 FCFS whitelist mints will not go to public. This 48 Genesis supply will be converted into tokens which will then be burned into Generations. The result will be Gen-1 Rare Friends for activations. This ensures that the $RAREFRIENDS token and Genesis NFT markets remain insulated and deflationary. If we let this mint go public it will immediately be botted within the same block. There is no chance a normal participant would actually get any one of the 48 remaining mints. We have witnessed these botters firsthand in the moments after the auction claim with zero intention to activate/play Rare Friends. That's fine. Game is game.
