Men, please go to therapy. We ALL have unresolved shit that seeps into our relationships and friendships and inevitably blows them up. The darkest day of my life was the actual love of my life getting married to someone else due to my own fuck ups. That sent me on a tail spin that i was not recovering from on my own. Get help. Its there. If is even to have regular chats with loved ones and close confidants. A professional is always better bt get the help you need.

Every year end we send out letters to companies for sponsorship for a refrigerator through our CEO to store medications! We don’t even have a proper break room to sit and have lunch! But unu waa ppl perform at optimum with no resources! Unu nuh piss me off

I’ve had to go in my pocket to buy clipboards to put patients charts on, my colleagues & I had to dig deep in our pockets to pay a carpenter to make a cabinet to store medications for our patients!

According to the Ministry of Finance, for the financial year ending 2024, the NHT collected JM$43.061 billion in income and spent JM$12.946 billion in operating expenses. These figures are shocking as the average number of housing completions by the NHT from 2018 to 2022 is 2157 per annum.. (Economic and Social Survey of Jamaica 2022) Additionally, the NHT generated a surplus of JM$21.8 billion for the financial year 2023/2024. With an employed labour force of 1.27 million, the NHT is delivering less than 0.18% of houses or 'housing completions' for our working population. So, instead of building houses for our people, the NHT is taking a percentage of workers' and employers' salaries to build cash in the bank. Yet NHT executives are making substantial salaries annually.
