The day before we went into the studio to finish up our next record, this song was sent to Hillary. We cut it the next day and then, a week later, we learned of Charles’ cancer diagnosis. God’s timing in allowing this song to find us and the message behind it is truly carrying us right now and we can’t help but think some of y’all might need to hear it too. We trust there’s a bigger picture.

Like a lot of us, it started with the music. Her incomparable songwriting, voice and endless ability to entertain and empower had an impact like no other in our industry. Then, we found ourselves lucky enough to live in a world made better by Dolly Parton. She is one of the most unifying people to have walked this earth — a stunning example of what it means to be a human being.
