20-year-old phone seller narrates how he crushed police sergeant to de@th in Lagos A 20-year-old phone and gadget seller, Olusola Olumide, has narrated how he crushed a police sergeant to de@th in Lagos State . The incident occurred along Olugbede Street in the Egbeda area of the state while police officers were conducting a stop and search operation. According to the account, officers signalled Olumide to stop, and he initially complied. However, as Sergeant Johnson Okediji approached the driver’s side of the vehicle, Olumide suddenly sped off. The officer was reportedly knocked down and dragged underneath the vehicle for several metres, despite repeated attempts by police officers and passers by to get the driver to stop. Olumide was eventually chased and arrested. Sergeant Okediji sustained multiple fr@ctures and head inj¥ries in the incident. He was rushed to a nearby hospital before being referred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), where he was pronounced de@d on arrival.
