Two of our members got up extremely early to pipe the Snowball Express families to their plane. The Snowball Express is a fully sponsored trip for Gold Star Families. This year they went to Disney World. Photo credit: Oregon Patriot Pictures

We are pleased to be included in the Portland Police Memorial Ceremony every year. This year was a wet one! A few of us stopped by the Portland Police Museum after. It’s a great look at some history of the Portland Police. #pphgband @PortlandPolice

Yesterday, we attended and performed at the Fallen Law Enforcement Ceremony in Salem. This memorial honors the 187 Oregon officers who have died in the line of duty since the 1880’s. #pphgband #policeweek

Last night, a few members of our band participated in welcoming veterans coming back from an Honor Flight to DC. #pphgband #honorflight

We will help honor 187 fallen law enforcement officers, and the families they left behind, during an hour-long memorial ceremony on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 1 PM. It will be outdoors at the state memorial: Oregon Public Safety Academy, 4190 Aumsville Highway SE, in Salem.

Deputy Justin Derosier’s memorial service is April 24, 1:00 at the Chile’s Center in Portland. Deputy Derosier was killed in the line of duty on April 14, 2019 in WA. The Highland Guard & Seattle Police Pipes and Drums will be performing. RIP. You will not be forgotten.
