There are 3 main audio layers in the game
⁃The randomised pad chords;
⁃The ‘melody’ (UI elements);
⁃And the diegetic ambience (waves)

This is the most dynamic approach to music/sound I’ve ever attempted. The music is essentially proc-gen, some of it being randomised chords based on the scene, and other parts dependent on the player’s actions. The player essentially ‘writes’ the music

I was so thrilled to work with @_LauraRoslin on this beautiful shell collecting game. I’ve played it and loved it (and I’m only a very occasional and very choosy gamer). The shells are stunning and the ambience is super chilled, with cool facts sprinkled around from me. Enjoy!
Inspired by a day out at the beach, we made a game about collecting seashells! We even had help from the wonderful @helenscales. I learned so much and soon you can too 🐚
