The incel culture that has been pushed by Andrew Tate, Sneako, all these red pill losers are responsible for this poor 15 year old girl getting stabbed. When you objectify women and reduce them as nothing but sheer things to get your gratification from, rejection is not something you accept

All of those players commenting on Memphis Depay’s post. All of them being so public and vocal.
How many were this loud when the bloody and bruised pictures and horrible audio of Mason Greenwood’s girlfriend came out? Not one public condemnation.

Reality is these people don’t give a shit about “innocent until proven guilty”, they care about protecting their favourite athletes and they hate women. The double standard is as clear as day

I’d call the “innocent until proven guilty” crowd the most intellectually dishonest people out there if I’d any regard for their intellect.
Just as there’s not enough evidence to find Mendy guilty, there’s no proof the 6 women were lying? Where’s their presumption of innocence?

i get false allegations do happen very very rarely but multiple women who do not know each other are not going to come forward over someone famous and powerful unless it is true
Hi Pryce retweeted
what do those women even gain out of making a false allegation? like seriously. you don't even know any of the names of mendys accusers. what reason do they have to lie

Just have to reiterate how absurd the logic of rape culture is. It's not the rich, famous men, who can exhaust endless resources to manipulate legal systems already biased against survivors, with the power. It's the women with almost no chance of obtaining convictions that do.

And football/sport just seems to make it worse. Sprinkle in some tribalism and it's basically impossible to get someone to reflect critically because an "attack" on your guy is an attack on you. You're not just defending something you like, but your identify itself.

I've thought long and hard about how to get through to my fellow men. Facts and statistics don't seem to work. Sharing personal testimony doesn't seem to work. Our defense mechanisms instantly activate upon hearing any of it. We instantly flip it and make ourselves the victims.

The vast prevalence of rape culture is 100% the most depressing thing I have encountered in my time as a football fan. Memphis' mindset is truly so widespread it's almost unfathomable. Your average dude thinks like that, word-for-word, including your average player.

i would also be upset if i suddenly realised 99% of my favourite artists hated my political ideologies
