Binance’s decision to discontinue its mining pool in November is concerning news for Bitcoin’s mining ecosystem. Miners can move elsewhere, but losing a major pool operator such as Binance now means fewer alternatives, and risks a greater concentration of control if that hashrate flows towards the largest remaining pools. That is not the direction we and our community want for Bitcoin’s decentralisation. Here at TAP, supporting miner profitability and long-term sustainability is a priority. Demonstrated through our miner-redirect mechanism that provides an additional, Bitcoin-native block reward for every block mined (paid in DMT-NAT: @natgmi). This was done with the primary aim of strengthening the incentives for securing the network. 🤝 All Bitcoiners want an ecosystem where a diverse range of miners and pool operators can all thrive and remain profitable. And for TAP, building on Bitcoin means a responsibililty to support the economics that underpin its security and decentralisation. As always, we invite mining pools to connect with the TAP team to explore how our miner-redirect mechanism can help their miners access this additional, Bitcoin-native revenue stream. Bitcoin's security budget issue is no longer something that can be ignored, or saved for a solution at a "later" date. We are committed to bringing this discourse into the broader Bitcoin arena for increased discussion and debate. We stand alongside all ~50k NAT advocates and holders today, and hope to see the community grow louder and stronger with every passing year. Bitcoin is NAT alone.
As part of our ongoing review of products and services, Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and related services on 2026-11-10 at 07:00 UTC. This includes Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, and related features. Read the full notice: binance.com/en/support/annou…

These books will give you a better education than almost any school curriculum — save this list. It is now normal to complete education in the West without ever reading Homer, Hesiod, Plato, Aristotle, Virgil, Augustine, Aquinas, or Dante. This is how you erase a culture. We set up the Athenaeum to fight back. If schools and universities won't teach the Great Books, we must form our own reading circles. These are some we've read together, or will cover soon. Join us. Study the great works in dialogue with others. We're about the start the Great American Novel: Moby-Dick, by Herman Melville. Make no mistake. This deceptive story about a whale is a sprawling masterpiece that combines epic, tragedy, drama, sermon, philosophy, and theology into a profound meditation on God, fate, evil, death, and the limits of human reason. It is the most powerful novel in American history. We're reading it over the next 6-7 weeks, together. First discussion is on October 13. You do NOT want to miss this one. Take out a paid subscription if you'd like to support our mission and join the discussions directly — it makes a huge difference to the time and resources we can dedicate. China’s extreme poverty rate fell from 96% in 1981 to 0% by 2019. That’s 800 million people. Market reforms after 1978 did this. Decollectivize the farms, let people keep the surplus, open the coast, join the WTO. It wasn’t Mao. It wasn’t a 5 year plan.

This is not a photograph. Every leaf and every reflection was put there by hand, in oil, by the Danish painter Peder Mørk Mønsted in 1894. It is called Wooded path by a river, and it captures the hardest thing there is to paint: a forest in full sunlight. Light through trees never falls evenly. It scatters into countless flecks of brightness and shadow, a glow on one leaf, darkness on the next, a glint on the water that would vanish the moment a cloud passed. Get those even slightly wrong, and the whole thing collapses into a green blur. Mønsted got every one of them right, and in doing so he captured something anyone who has stood alone in a wood will recognize immediately: that hush that falls over you, the sense of being completely at peace, and the feeling that the whole world has paused to breathe…

The most powerful method ever invented for controlling a population is distraction. Ancient Rome perfected it 2000 years ago, and it is being used on you right now... For centuries the Roman citizen was the proudest political animal on earth. He voted. He chose the men who led the legions, filled the high offices, and shaped the Republic. Real power ran through the ordinary people. Then, slowly, they let it go, and they barely noticed it... It happened through two things given freely by the state. The first was spectacle: chariot races in the Circus Maximus, gladiators in the arena, ever grander games, all free, all designed to keep the crowd entertained. The second was grain: beginning in the second century BC, Roman politicians learned that handing out cheap or free food to the masses was the easiest way to win their loyalty, and over time the grain dole became a permanent fixture, feeding a huge share of the city at the state's expense. Feed them and amuse them, and they would not ask questions about who was really running things... You might remember this quote from the movie Gladiator: "Rome is the mob. Conjure magic for them and they'll be distracted. Take away their freedom and still they'll roar. The beating heart of Rome is not the marble of the Senate, it's the sand of the Colosseum. He'll bring them death, and they will love him for it." A Hollywood screen writer put those words in a senator's mouth, but the Romans had said it first. Around 100 AD the poet Juvenal looked at his fellow Romans, once masters of their own Republic, now placid and passive under the emperors, and wrote with disgust: "The People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions, everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses." In latin, Panem et circenses. Now think about how most days feel for most people in 2026. An endless stream of entertainment, sport, outrage and spectacle without end, and enough comfort that few are hungry enough to look up from the screen. Panem et circenses names a truth about human beings that has not changed in two thousand years: give people enough to eat and enough to watch, and they will hand over almost anything, including the power that was theirs to begin with...

The left is on a project to enforce equality, despite biology and markets. The goal of equality gives claim to the moral high ground, but contradicting biology and markets requires censorship and violence, which makes the whole project immoral.

Life is way better once you stop being so serious. You can just have fun with it all. Make people laugh. Ignore all the very serious topics that the news wants you focused on. The world's only breaking when you look for it There's still genuinely good and beautiful people everywhere. Go talk to them. Look them in the eyes and connect When they ask you a question, give them a fun answer they don't expect. Stop trying to make conversations serious. It's boring. Be playful. Have fun. Dance. Watch what happens. I've been the introvert stuck in his head, constantly running every scenario, aware of everything going on in the world, trying to get others to care about serious things... And that guy gets absolutely MOGGED by the carefree extrovert who fully inhabits his body, needs nothing, and just gives people a good time in the moment All the best times of your life will happen effortlessly when you're in the latter state Out of the head and into the body In between the past and the future

McDonald's loses lawsuit against chef Jamie Oliver, who proved that the food they sell is unfit for human consumption because it is highly toxic. Chef Jamie Oliver won a lawsuit against the world's largest fast-food chain. Oliver demonstrates how hamburgers are made. According to Oliver, fatty cuts of meat are "washed" with ammonium hydroxide and then used to fill the hamburger patties. Even before this process, the TV presenter says, this meat was unfit for human consumption. Oliver, a radical activist chef taking on the food industry, says: "We are talking about meat that is sold as dog food and then served to humans. Aside from the quality of the meat, ammonium hydroxide is harmful to health." Oliver calls it "the pink slime process." What sane person would put a piece of meat soaked in ammonium hydroxide into a child's mouth? In another initiative, Oliver demonstrated how chicken nuggets are made: After the "best parts" are selected, the rest—fat, skin, cartilage, eyes, bones, head, feet—is subjected to a mechanical separation process called "Canica"—a euphemism used by food engineers. This blood-pink paste, which is deodorized, bleached, refreshed, and re-colored, is then coated in flour and deep-fried. It is typically fried in partially hydrogenated oils—in other words, toxic substances. The food industry uses ammonium hydroxide as an antimicrobial agent, allowing McDonald's to use meat in its hamburgers that is unfit for human consumption. Even more alarming, however, is the fact that these ammonium-hydrogen-based substances are considered "legal components of the production process" in the global food industry, with the approval of health authorities. Consequently, consumers will never know what substances are in their food. Please stop giving this fake food to your children.

Replying to @elonmusk
@elonmusk a vulnerable deaf man in Belfast was nearly beheaded while trying to help his attacker. As a result, he’s now blind in both eyes. I’d like to personally cover the full cost of a Neuralink Blindsight implant to restore his sight. I'm sure the list is long, but I’m happy to take care of the cost whatever it takes for Stephen Ogilvie to see again. Sincerely yours, james
It’s now been reported that Steven has sadly lost sight in both eyes after he was so violently attacked and nearly beheaded by a vile foreigner in Belfast the other day ,so not only is he a vulnerable adult who had hearing loss he now is blind. Well done to the British government

$ADA and many other such projects (Like AVAX, DOT like prior cycle coins) are finally in terminal death decline phases. Taking out their prior 4yr cycle lows = 💀
Wait, it’s 2024 and there are $ADA diehards left? For the love of your hard earned capital my friends, get out.

$ORDI surge from $4 to $90 happened in just 8 weeks. Triggered by - Breaking its previous high - Constant Exchange listings over 5 months - Community pressure The great thing about $NAT is that it has a BTC pair and an ETH pair making exchange listings easier compared to $ORDI The community should target a @Gate listing next. They already listed $TAP They already have $NAT on alpha @natgmi Lets get $NAT on @Gate

$NAT Update @natgmi The flippening? Did $NAT just overtake $ORDI as the top project on Bitcoin Blew through the weekly resistance. Now strength above weekly (daily closes) leads to further price discovery. More miners adopting $NAT will lead to a giga chad rally. Remember $NAT pulled this move in a bear market. Pullbacks to weekly resistance are for buying the dip Pumping in a bear market is the greatest form of marketing. All eyes on $NAT

$NAT @natgmi TA It looks like NAT will soon finally overtake $ORDI as the top Bitcoin project. I mentioned the @tap_protocol ecosystem would overtake $ORDI a very long time ago when $TAP first came out. Took way longer then expected, however we are finally reaching that stage where fundamentals overtake hype. $NAT is testing its ATH from launch day. More tests means resistance gets weaker. We may reject one more time to form a higher low followed by a huge rally/breakout that will take this project into the top 100 by Mcap. Its $NAT so far away now. Strength above the weekly ATH in purple will be GO time.
