The student + left protests in France, Belgium, Spain, Albania and Italy have been nastier than the CJP+left protests in India. Indian administration, both law & order and judiciary have dealt with these protests far better than their counterparts in the European countries.
India has handled the oil crisis and inflation problem way better than Europe and the US, thanks to Modi and his council of ministers. The European governments are struggling to handle excessive borrowing and inflation. The US borrowings are way high as well but they have the US Dollar reservoir.
Overall, top marks to Indian protestors, Police, Judiciary and the government, if you compare the situation in other countries mentioned above. But the UN Human Rights criticised India severely, while its language was much more guarded against France.

We unveiled India’s first diesel-electric hybrid passenger vehicle, (on a Scorpio platform) at the Delhi Auto Expo.
In 2006.
Two decades ago.
Didn’t commercialise it because the market simply wasn’t ready.
As for V6s and V8s, building them was never rocket science.
The real question was whether India needed more gas-guzzlers. We thought not.
Sometimes innovation is about what you choose not to build.
