It truly is laughable how bad Madden is this year lol. EA has no clue how to fix a problem even though they patch every coin glitch in minutes and now they had to delay elims so there is MCS elims on Halloween🤣🤣🤣🤣
Due to a known issue impacting players’ ability to make changes to certain items, MCS eliminations will be postponed until next weekend.

I think Kmac brings up some amazing points in this tweet. The whole "having to build the best team and then immediately sell off that team after ladders and lose 10 mil coins on your team" is very awful and affects everyone even the dudes who spend grands on the game.
I think having ladders/elims during the CFB and NFL slate is a valid reason on what is killing MCS. Only problem imo is that they realistically don't have many other options with majority of people working 9-5 jobs. Last thing they would prob want to do is play ladders after work or EA hosts it while they are working and they can't compete cause they are at work.
I've seen a lot of discussion the past few days about the declining participation in the MCS, and to me it really boils down to two things..
1. MUT is too expensive. People do not want to play FIFTEEN games that last an hour each to qualify for a tournament where they could lose in the first round. They do not want to use every coin they have to build the best possible team they can and then sell it off hours later for a massive loss. They are spending hours for something they will most likely get legitimately get nothing out of. The overwhelming majority of people will LOSE millions of coins and dozens of hours just by trying.
Every tournament should be double elimination. The MCS should not be ran through a third party website. It should be accessible in game like it was when it first started. You should be given rewards to spend your time playing and competing just like it's as if you were playing H2H seasons.
2. Stop hosting qualifiers and eliminations on weekends during football. It is severely killing interest in the e-sport. The live events are held on Tuesdays for a reason. Competing with CFB and NFL viewership is self-inflicted adversity. I can't imagine how popping Twitch would be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if everyone was live with drops streaming ladders or elims.

That should be setting off alarm bells.
The MCS prize pool has dropped from $1.7M in Madden 24 to $750K in Madden 27. All while MUT has only gotten more expensive.
Players are spending more to compete for less & now we're seeing concerning signs about participation.
I've been around this scene for 8 years and I've never been more concerned about its future.
Absolutely insane that this is the current state of MCS ladders. Not even enough people qualified and someone who was 1-23 in MCS qualified as well. It is supposed to be the highest level of Madden and it has just turned into a joke.
Insanely sad to see how quickly MCS went downhill. After we saw the regression last year in MCS, the whole state of MCS was iffy and I honestly didn't think we were getting it this year and I kind of wish we didn't after seeing this.
Unfortunately tho, as someone who also took a break from this tourney, I don't blame anyone for not playing this tourney. Game is wayyyyy too expensive to be honestly not fun at all and pretty ass as well. Just not a competitive game at all and again, insanely expensive as well.

I am not against dashing most times but I do understand where Bobby is coming from.
It makes sense a lot more this year then it usually has with how expensive MUT is. I get it for gauntlet and the final days of ranked and some events because those are when you need it the most.
Now if anyone is desperate enough to dash anytime between weeks 1-3.5 for ranked, that is pussy imo. You are gonna have to play 150+ games anyways so that one game actually doesn't matter. Now don't get me started on people wanting to dash seasons games...
It does suck for more people than it doesn't suck for because unless you are in a discord or know someone who is, you are searching randomly while people in discords are also figuring out who searches first and even if they match a sweat, they just dash with them anyways.

Texas 4-Man Blocking Macro📌
Setup:
1. Half slide AWAY from your HB
2. Double team the EDGE opposite of the HB side
3. ID the EDGE on the HB side
