📢 I am happy to announce that our joint manuscript with @Anna_Wilhelmson and @Bo_Porse is out in @NatureComms. We show that TET2 loss aggravates CEBPA-mutated AML by rebalancing GATA2 levels. 1/ rdcu.be/dnI4F
We propose a model in which elevated levels of CEBPA p30 recruit more TET2 to the GATA2 enhancer resulting in higher, suboptimal GATA2 expression. Loss of TET2 reduces GATA2 expression and thereby gives the leukemic cells a competitive advantage. 9/
