i think it’s important to acknowledge that so many of us are carrying things that we don’t always have the space, the words, or even the opportunity to speak about.
life be LIFE-ING. and sometimes, people are fighting battles that we know absolutely nothing about.
we all deserve safe spaces. spaces where we can simply BE. where our humanity is recognized, our feelings are validated, and our nervous systems can finally be at ease. spaces where we don’t have to constantly explain ourselves, defend ourselves, or be anything other than human.

white lady in my city moved into a historically black neighborhood and started harassing the HBCU students about where they parked. someone confronted her and she replied "THIS IS OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!!!" ...shittt they been at her neck ever since 😂😂

How are y’all drinking 8 glasses of water, getting 10k steps, eating enough protein, taking vitamins, getting 8 hours of sleep, working 8 hours a day, making money, saving money, building credit, paying bills, buying groceries in THIS economy, keeping gas in the car, keeping the house clean, washing clothes, cooking dinner, taking care of the kids, maintaining friendships, spending time with family, having hobbies, healing childhood trauma, regulating your nervous system, going to therapy, setting boundaries, protecting your peace, keeping up with a skincare routine, looking good, staying in shape, having a social life, dating, getting enough alone time, limiting screen time, staying informed, reading books, taking vacations, planning for retirement, building an emergency fund AND somehow enjoying the present moment???
Because there are only 24 hours in a day, everything costs $87, and I have questions.
