SpaceX is scheduled to report Q3 results after Tuesday’s market close.
This is its second quarterly report since the IPO, and Wall Street expects its first quarterly profit.
Expectations vs. last quarter:
• Revenue: ~$12.87B, up from $7.81B (+65%)
• Net income: ~$1.87B, vs a $541M loss
• Adj. EPS: ~$0.12, vs -$0.04
Then there’s capex. SpaceX spent ~$18.4B last quarter, mostly on AI and space projects. That’s more than the entire revenue the Street expects this quarter, and almost 10x the expected profit. Management has said Q3 and Q4 spending could stay at similar levels.
So the profit line and the cash line could tell very different stories. Tuesday’s real test is whether SpaceX can stay profitable while spending at this pace.
What we’re watching Tuesday:
1. Revenue and profit vs. expectations
2. Starlink growth and monetization
3. Whether AI capex keeps climbing
4. 2027 targets for space data centers and revenue
5. How the share giveaway is structured
JUST IN: Elon Musk will be distributing SpaceX share gift through Trump accounts.
See post below.

If he means by donating via Invest America (Trump) accounts, then I think this a very good idea! The single most optimistic future is one where the entire next generation owns a piece of SpaceX. Ownership is amongst the most American ideals. Owning a piece of a space faring future is next level American Optimism.
The Magnificent 7 have added $339 billion in combined market cap today.
$AMZN is up 5.13% today, adding $138 billion.
Do you think this pump will last?

wondering if they are "cutting longs" or "adding shorts"
Goldman upgraded CoreWeave to Buy from Neutral, but cut its price target to $106 from $139.
Higher rating, lower target.
Goldman calls last week’s selloff a buying opportunity. Its argument: tight AI compute supply plus CoreWeave’s competitive advantages should lift revenue per megawatt over the next two years.
Amazon is going after the two biggest bottlenecks in AI at once: 1. power, and 2. the cost of switching away from Nvidia.
Power: Amazon is funding development of a proposed 960 MW nuclear project in Indiana with AEP and X-energy. It would use small modular reactors at a former coal plant, and Amazon would buy the electricity under a long-term agreement if it’s completed. Still feasibility-stage.
Chips: Amazon announced TorchNeuron, software that lets developers run existing PyTorch code on Trainium with a single configuration change. 30+ early customers are already using it. No independent performance or cost benchmarks yet.
For shareholders, the upside is more dependable power and more competitive AWS costs. Neither announcement points to a near-term profit uplift.
What to watch: nuclear approvals and economics, and whether easier chip adoption turns into sustained usage and better margins.
Elon says he will donate one share of SpaceX stock to every American child in 2027.
This is around $10.5B.
How do u think he’ll donate them?
Trump Accounts or something else?
BREAKING: Elon Musk says he will donate one share of SpaceX stock, $SPCX, to every American child in 2027.
There are currently ~73 million children in the US and SpaceX is trading at $146/share.
This makes Elon Musk’s donation worth $10.7 billion based on current share price.

Wondering whether he’ll donate his own shares or newly issued ones (since new shares would cause dilution)
But seems like he will be donating his own shares?
He said, "Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America"

Yup, it's been pretty tough out there since June/July. hopefully we can all get back on track soon.
