I think overall why this game resonates with me so much is just how tragic its world and characters are just like other games stories I hold in high regard like xiv and NieR. The lore this game introduces to expand on what three houses set up is so interesting to me and I can’t wait to see what we learn in the dlc from the other four flame lords perspectives and where they decide to take everything in the inevitable third game.

I'm still fairly early into part 3 with 167 hours so another 4 routes is going to have this be my most played switch 2 game for a very long time I imagine

In that moment Loretta was the true main character chosen by fate
