A design file leaves a designer, goes to Würth, then to a print shop, then to the customer who ordered the part. Four companies. Four separate systems. Four versions of what happened. Securing the file is the part everyone expects to be hard, and it is the part that is furthest along. Encrypting a design, splitting it, and releasing it only to an authorized machine is engineering we know how to do. What stops the industry is the record. Who was allowed to print, how many times, and what was actually produced. Everyone in the chain needs the same answer, and none of them can be the one who holds it. Give the record to the designer, and the print shop is trusting them. Give it to the distributor, and everyone else is. Put it in a shared database, and someone still administers it, which means someone can still change it. This is the problem we are working on with Würth, and it is why the record sits on a blockchain. Not the design. The account of what was licensed and what was printed, written once, visible to all four, owned by none of them. For the engineer who spent three years on that design, it means something simple. She can let it travel, and still know what it did.

A few people have Thursday's numbers tangled, so let me untangle them. The majority of the $684m loss is the cost of retiring Bitcoin miners as we convert those sites to AI Cloud. Non-cash. The cloud business underneath ran ~87% gross margins (ex D&A). Every megawatt that comes off mining goes back on at multiples of the revenue. Recent 3-year AI Cloud contracts are at >$20m per MW (IT), more than double late last year. And the $25-30bn of forecasted FY27 capex isn't an equity number. Customer prepayments can cover about half the GPU capex. Lenders can fund most of the rest. We raised ~$19bn over the last twelve months and only ~$3bn of it was equity. We haven't borrowed a dollar against the data centers yet either. $4bn of ARR is contracted, with three sites commissioning between now and year end to bring it online. And that's the 2026 story. The real ramp is 2027, when Sweetwater and the next wave of capacity come into play. It's delivery time.

A CAD file is the design a manufacturer spent years on. The moment it is sent, control over it ends. That is the same problem as a medical record, in a different industry. Manufacturing is moving from shipping parts to sending the recipe. Print the part where it is needed, when it is needed. Freight is the small saving. The bigger one is the specialized parts built against a forecast that never sell. The technology is ready. 3D printing left prototyping years ago. Aerospace, turbines, medical and dental print production parts today, not samples. It has not happened, and not because printers cannot do it. An engineer who sends a CAD file has no way to control what happens to it next. One file, unlimited prints. So the choice stays: send the file, or ship the box. Most ship the box. This is the gap our joint project with Würth is built to close.

Looking forward to this event in the coming week! The Cambridge Symposium is very different from a normal tech or crypto conference A lot of the value comes from having senior regulators, prosecutors, law enforcement officials, judges, government representatives, security and intelligence people, lawyers and private sector experts in the same place. Some of the smaller discussions are conducted under Chatham House Rule There are some cool names attending the event: Dr. Kim Campbell - former prime minister of Canada Sir Andrew Mitchell - former Deputy Foreign Secretary Ellie Reeves -Attorney General of England & Wales Justice Surya Kant - Chief Justice of India Sir William Browder - founder & CO of Hermitage Capital Management Lord Hogan-Howe - former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Giles Thomson - President of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) And there are lot of names that don't get listed (because of privacy/security reasons) that also attend the event.
Iagon will be attending the 43rd Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime at Jesus College at @Cambridge_Uni, and Dr. Navjit Dhaliwal @NaVi_GaT0R, CEO of Iagon, is listed on the official programme as a speaker in a session focused on crypto recoveries, asset recovery, and third-party funding. 🧵1/

Migration complete: rewards and tiers are now accurate The node software migration concludes today - August 18th. Rewards and tiers on the dashboard are no longer provisional, and the scoring and reward calculations affected since February have been corrected. One thing we found along the way After the tier update went live, a small number of nodes were manipulating the benchmarking system to obtain scores their actual performance did not support. Those nodes lose their IAG rewards from the past year. Those rewards are not removed from the ecosystem. They go back into the storage node reward program, extending how long it runs for everyone operating honestly. For delegator Your delegation is not affected by this. Delegators are not penalised for a node operator's behaviour, and nothing you earned is being taken back. It is still worth checking the node you support. Where a node was found manipulating benchmarks, the dashboard shows it. If you would rather delegate elsewhere, the move delegation feature lets you switch to a node with a better tier at any time. Edge cases With a migration this size, some nodes will end up in situations these rules do not describe cleanly. If your results look wrong to you, tell us. We would rather look at your specific case than have you assume the number is final. Ask here or open a ticket on Discord, and we'll work through it with you.

Last call for node operators The migration deadline is tonight, 12 August, 21:45 UTC. If your node is still on a pre-2.x.x version, this is the window to update. After the deadline, those nodes will no longer be compatible with the network's operating requirements. They will show as offline or stopped on the dashboard, stop taking part in the network, and stop earning rewards. Missing it is not permanent. You can update at any time afterwards and your node re-joins the network once the update is done. A note on the dashboard: performance data, rewards and tiers are still provisional. The calculations depend on inputs from across the network, and those are not complete until every operator has upgraded, so figures may still move between epochs. The migration concludes on 18 August 2026. Windows installation guide docs.iagon.com/provide-resou… Linux & macOS installation guide docs.iagon.com/provide-resou… Stuck on anything? Ask here, we're around.
Iagon Node Software Update - Action required by 12 August The new Iagon node software is now available for Windows, alongside the updated installation documentation and instructions. All node operators are required to migrate to the latest version within the next two weeks (Latest by August 12th, 2026 21:45 UTC) . Please update to the latest version available for your operating system: Windows: version 2.0.9 Linux: version 2.0.9 macOS: version 2.0.5 Cyclone node operators and ALL other node operators running version 2.x.x , do not need to take any action. After the migration deadline, earlier node versions will no longer be compatible with the network’s current operating requirements and will be unable to participate. Delegators should also monitor the status of the node they are supporting. Operators will be given an initial period to complete the upgrade, but delegators may need to reassess or move their delegation if their selected node has not migrated within the recommended timeframe. Benchmark results and node tiers will return to the dashboard no later than Monday. As previously promised, reputation, tiers and rewards for the period affected by the earlier benchmarking issue will be reviewed and corrected as part of this migration process. As we collect performance data from the new node versions, the benchmarking and tier algorithms may be refined where necessary. Tier results may therefore vary between epochs during the initial rollout. This is expected and should not be a cause for concern. Node operators should upgrade as soon as possible rather than waiting until the deadline. Windows installation guide: docs.iagon.com/provide-resou… Linux & MacOS installation guide: docs.iagon.com/provide-resou… Thank you to all node operators and delegators supporting the continued development and stability of the Iagon network.

6 weeks is very conservative
Iagon Insight opens to everyone on Cardano. For now, Iagon Insight serves enterprise partners like Fireblocks. In about six weeks, we're bringing it to everyone building on Cardano — individuals, projects, and businesses. One API, all the data. Insight covers the endpoints and datasets you'd reach through Blockfrost, Maestro, Koios, and other providers - plus features that have never before been available to the Cardano community. We're building this for the Cardano ecosystem at no cost — so there's no need to worry about whether other initiatives get funded or not. We've got you covered. Full details in the coming weeks. Stay tuned. Designed for Enterprise. Built for Everyone.

Imagine you fuck it up ULTRA HARD,.. ...and instead of helping the people by informing them correctly and what to do next to protect your assets - you tell them THE WRONG THING to do: Just do nothing - and wait till your wallet is drained too!🤡😅🙈 Because they do NOT want people to use a better wallet (and not use theirs anymore). Even if that means people could lose everything. Does NOT matter as long as they keep a few more wallets where the ADA is automatically staked to their Pools and they use the ADA of other people to vote for things how they like. 🚨⚠️W A R N I N G⚠️🚨 ==================== At this point every wallet generated through/with Yoroi/SecondFi could be considered compromised! So please follow the steps below and move your assets to a wallet where the key-generation is solid! ==================== 🚨⚠️W A R N I N G⚠️🚨 Here is what I would do: 1. Get yourself the ETERNL Wallet @eternlwallet - Use a Hardware wallet IF you have,...@KeystoneWallet 3. Create a NEW wallet within ETERNL 4. Restore your OLD wallet within ETERNL 5. Transfer ALL your assets from the OLD wallet to the NEW wallet (using and all within ETERNL!) It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do NOT touch or do any transaction(s) with Yoroi and/or SecondFi anymore! AFTER you moved all your assets from the OLD wallet to the NEW wallet - confirm that ALL assets are in the NEW wallet. Then feel free to delete the OLD wallet (which should be empty) in ETRNL. You also may want to delete the Yoroi/SecondFi Apps. ⚠️THAT is the best moment for Scammers, they will post links, and guides how you "can" recover your assets, reach out to you, etc. IGNORE ALL THIS! NEVER EVER give your seed words to anyone else! IF someone asks for any data it is a scam. ONLY YOU should know the seed words! Also, be extremely careful which links you use! Do NOT click on eternl and other links etc. which are posted by some people, always go to their official X-Profile page and use the official links from there!⚠️
There has been conflicting advice from different community members in an attempt to be helpful. ⚠️ DO NOT RESTORE your recovery phrase into a new Cardano wallet. As advised, do nothing until official steps come from SecondFi. The only thing you should do is submit a ticket at support.secondfi.io. We will never DM you first or ask for your recovery phrase.

Alright #CardanoCommunity, Let me quote Charles from one of his latest videos: "And I want to get back to unity. And I want to get back to empathy. And I want to get back to productive conversations. And I want to get back to Let's solve problems and get things done." That being said - i need YOUR (you! the one reading this!) help: Please retweet this post and tag @IOHK_Charles, because I have a message for him: Hey Charles, If what you said in the video is true, I would like to invite you to a private call with me (no recordings, etc.). Just the two of us having a constructive conversation about the ecosystem we both love! You have ideas, I have ideas - let's sort things out, brainstorm, etc. I really mean it - let's put the chaos aside and talk like grown men. It will be very beneficial for the Cardano ecosystem! Unblock me, DM me on X, and then we will pick a channel for our call. We may not have been aligned on everything in the past, and a lot of what we both said escalated really quickly. Let us both be bigger than this, because we both know there is one thing in our hearts that is bigger than anything else... and that is #Cardano!

Okay boys & girls, PLEASE, everyone who can vote, please do so and consider voting "Yes." Do your own research, of course, but this one is important. This is THE wallet of Cardano! It also seems they are planning to offer a monthly subscription for wallet users, which could help make the project sustainable in the future and potentially reduce the need for future treasury requests. From a business perspective, I highly respect that approach, and I'll be among the first to subscribe when it becomes available. LET'S SUPPORT THIS, because ETERNL, formerly known as cvault (back in the days), has always been there for all of us!
Updated proposal: Eternl: Path to Sustainability - v2 adastat.net/governances/fbb8… The previous proposal, “Eternl: Path to Sustainability (2026-2027),” received NO votes from CC members due to a lack of clarity regarding audits. This new proposal is essentially the same as the previous one and adds that clarification. Key differences: - Added clarification on Audit funds spending and oversight metrics, as requested in the CC vote rationales. - Updated Ada to USD conversion rates - Changed FAQ answer: Eternl DRep abstains on this proposal Clarification on FTEs: Our price per FTE is $70,000 (compared to other proposals exceeding $200,000 per FTE). A reasonable lower bound rate. Our 6 FTEs are distributed across 10 people contributing to Eternl in various capacities, most of them part-time. Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote on the first attempt. Please consider voting on the updated proposal as well. Cheers, Your Eternl Team
