TALKING CAN SAVE LIVES.
So I want to talk about something that happened today. Itโs important so please read this thread.
I had gone into town to do some shopping. On my way back I got to a railway crossing. U know where the path & road go across the tracks. The barriers were...

Please join me in prayer today for Matthew Shepard, who lost consciousness after being attacked on this day in 1998.
We must remember him, all victims of anti-LGBTQ+ violence, and all those who live with fear, hatred, and discrimination.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
Legend.
Actor John C. McGinley proudly raised his son Max, who was born with Down syndrome in 1997, firing his agent who advised him to hide the diagnosis and instead making Max a visible, cherished part of his life and a catalyst for disability advocacy...
A reporter once asked him if he ever wished his son were โnormal.โ His answer was simple: Max was normal. The problem wasn't his son's conditionโit was society's narrow definition of what "normal" is supposed to look like.
In 1997, actor John C. McGinley welcomed his son Max into the world. Shortly after Max was born with Down syndrome, John sat down with his talent agent to discuss his career. The agent offered a piece of advice meant to protect Johnโs Hollywood career. He suggested keeping the situation completely private, warning that studios might hesitate to hire him if he spoke out.
John looked at him and said, "You're fired."
Instead of hiding his family away, John chose complete openness. He took Max everywhere with him. They walked red carpets together, appeared on talk shows, visited movie sets, and attended public events side by side.
At a time when individuals with developmental disabilities were often kept out of public view, John made sure his son was visible. He introduced Max to the world with total pride, deep love, and no apologies.
What started as a father loving his child turned into decades of passionate advocacy. John became a leading voice for Down syndrome awareness.
He used his public platform to advocate for inclusion, fighting for equal opportunities so people with disabilities could work, contribute, and live meaningful independent lives.
During one public interview, a reporter asked John if he ever wished his son were normal. John did not hesitate. He replied that Max was normal, and that the question itself was what was flawed.
His response challenged the idea that human value depends on fitting into standard social expectations.
Years have passed since then, and Max has grown into an adult who works, participates in his community, and demonstrates what is possible when given a fair chance.
John often reflects on how his son shaped his perspective, stating that Max never held him back for a single moment. Through Max, he learned valuable lessons about patience, love, acceptance, and commitment.
When Max was born, the world suggested he should be tucked away out of sight. John spent decades making sure people saw him, heard him, and recognized his worth as a person.
Some parents protect their children by shielding them from the world. Others protect them by teaching the world to make room for them.
True inclusion begins when we stop seeing differences as limitations. Max didnโt need to change to belong. The world needed to change to include Max.
Looking back on every red carpet, film set, and quiet moment at home, John knows one thing for certain: Max was never a challenge to be overcome, but a gift to be cherished.
True love doesn't ask a child to fit the mold of the world; it reshapes the world so the child can shine exactly as they are.

There's no one driving the car. I love how big tech bros want us to believe that AI is the future. It can't get 10 seconds of animation right without fucking it up.
He sounds like the most whinny bitch ever. He has nothing insightful to say at all. Why any man would look up to this butthead I will never understand.

Trixie is a 6 year old, Staffy X (White)
Through no fault of her own Trixie is looking for a new loving home.
Sadly with a lot of soul searching her present owner has had to make the heart breaking decision to have to rehome Trixie due to personal reasons.
Trixie is a very loyal, loving girl who loves being spoilt and getting lots of cuddles, she loves any kind of attention she enjoys being all cosy and snuggling up with you.
She loves meeting people and loves attention from anyone.
She is good around children, Trixie can be reactive sometimes with other dogs. Not happy around cats. Not good with the hoover. She would be best placed in her new home with no other animals.
Trixie is registered with the vet, microchipped, no medical issues, not on any medications, she is fit and healthy, weight 27kg.
She is up to date with her vaccinations, she is due her yearly check up on the 28th November.
Trixie's diet - she eats wet and dry food, sheโs on Forthglade wet and Hunters Club dry twice a day. She is very food motivated, and loves her treats.
Trixie likes playing in the garden, enjoys going for walks.
She likes toys, her favourite is a ball, especially if it has a squeaker.
When going on walks can get a bit excited at first, can pull on her lead, however will settle down. She is not keen on dogs, she will walk past them fine, however she doesnโt like other dogs in her space and she will snap at them.
Trixie is good with commands.
She can be left on her own. She travels well in the car, can become vocal.
She sleeps in her own bed, unless she is sometimes allowed on the owners bed.
This beautiful girl is looking for her new human companion, to share lots of adventures, walks and all her love with.
If Trixie sounds like the dog for you email [email protected] for more information.

Weโve not had any enquiries for this lovely lad ๐ข despite extending the rehoming reach to England.
Can you please share, tag, or comment to help Tyson? It only takes seconds to do so but could mean that he lives the rest of his life somewhere full of love. Thank you.
A loving home needed for Tyson - 15 year old - Staffy.
Tyson is grieving the loss of his number one human, he loved. At his age, he deserves all the love, comfort and security we can possibly find for him.
Unfortunately the other human in Tyson's life, is in poor health and unable to continue to care for him, or give him the time and care he needs.
Tyson is a lovely boy who adores cuddles, gentle pats and human affection.
He will greet you with a wagging tail, then roll over for a belly rub.
He has so much love to give and deserves to spend his golden years surrounded by kindness, warmth and understanding.
He is looking for a special person who understands the needs of an older dog, who can offer Tyson a safe, peaceful and loving home, where he can settle in at his own pace and feel cherished again.
Tyson is very sociable with all people and good with children, however not as tolerant of other dogs or cats. So would need a home with no other pets.
Tyson is registered with with the vet, he is microchipped, with no medical problems, not able to say when Tyson was last seen by the vet.
He has not been walked on a lead, he has not been socialised with other dogs, he has shown aggression towards them. Although he has accepted and played with the dog belonging to other family member.
Tyson can be left alone, he sleeps on a throw on the floor, he is house trained, he is okay travelling in the car.
Tyson enjoys playing with a ball, he loves treats and does like a bone.
Tyson has been eating Webbox chicken roll with toast, he has now been eating Butchers tinned dog food with kibble.
This "Loving Boy" craves affection and human interaction.
Could you be the special person Tyson needs, or perhaps you know someone who could open their heart and home to this beautiful older boy.
Tyson is desperately looking for a happy, peaceful retirement, if you can help Tyson please email [email protected] for more information.
What? like for real. Yes we better than we would have been letting the evil nazis take over. How is this even a debate? Mr Tucker go read some history books, watch the great doc TV show The World at War. Is your head full of sawdust or something.
Just the very worst kind of scum.
6โ5โ Kick streamer Zachwaslive says heโs DEPRESSED after cold approaching thousands of women, saying his experiences have made his beliefs on womenโs psychology has gotten WORSE ๐ณ
Zach has had multiple instances where he has told women he was convicted of SA, domestic ab-se, and more but STILL received their numbers or had them show immediate interest due to his physical appearance ๐คฏ
โI just know that no matter how f-cking degenerate I am, no matter what the f-ck I say to them, one of them is going to be down, and I know Iโm going to get the number and sheโs going to be super down for meโฆโ
