This account explores the science, philosophy, and future of defeating aging, increasing healthspan, and pursuing longevity escape velocity. I advocate for informed consent, voluntary care, and responsible innovation while discussing the ethical, social, and technological paths toward longer, healthier lives. This is for commentary, critical analysis, and educational discussion and does not constitute medical advice.
Great!
A shout out to a few people in the longevity community who've been great
> @biogerontology collaborative and helpful
> @geochurch is an awesome human
> @davidasinclair welcoming and open
> @aubreydegrey friendly and positive
> @prof_horvath chill and curious
> @DrMorganLevine generous and rigorous
Yep!
I think people could live 300 years or more.
David Sinclair has already reversed the age of mice with reprogramming. That work has since moved to dogs and primates. In our own work we're seeing about three to five years of age reversal for every year of treatment.
Supplements like alpha-ketoglutarate, TMG and PQQ slow the aging process. Spermidine and fisetin help kill off older cells. Off-label drugs like tranylcypromine, valproic acid and sodium butyrate switch younger genes back on.
Furthermore, I see aging and cancer as very similar diseases. Cancer cells carry many of the same receptors as old cells. The drugs that extend life expectancy also tend to fight cancer.
As drugs and protocols that support longevity become more widely available, I believe people who reverse their age will be less likely to get cancer.
Nice
I put four longevity titans in one room for an hour, and they gave me four very different answers on when we’ll beat aging.
They challenged each other on timelines, the FDA, AI, and the hype problem in longevity science.
Watch @aubreydegrey, @biogerontology, @geochurch, and @M_S_Ringel battle it out, live now on The Beyond Tomorrow Podcast!
Congrats and cheers
Here at Harvard Medical School with @davidSinclair celebrating the 25th anniversary of his lab! thank you, david for your brilliant work on age rehearsal!
We need to see aging defeated absolutely
We had a fabulous Formal Research Seminar today at the Buck! Dr. Peter Adams @AdamsBioAging was our guest speaker today, visiting us from @sbpdiscovery in La Jolla. It was an exciting seminar on epigenetics, cancer and aging. We look forward to having you back soon Dr. Adams!
Each day the defeat of aging arrives sooner saves 100,000 lives. Extreme Longevity is a short book on using social media to hasten that work.

Hmmm!?
Longevity escape velocity is the point where medicine adds more than one year of healthy life for every year that passes.
That is a concrete public target.
Once life expectancy rises faster than time, aging becomes a solvable engineering problem.
Should longevity escape velocity be an explicit government research goal, yes or no?
Biology, accelerate biology!
we're probably 6–18 months away from a world where:
- obesity is basically solved
- balding actually gets fixed, real hair regrowth
- biological age becomes something you can push backwards
- fertility stops being locked to a biological countdown clock
- cancer treatment looks less like chemo and more like software: sequence the tumor, design the fix, treat it
- some genetic diseases get erased with a single treatment
- lab-grown organs become a real option
- drugs get designed faster than human teams can test them
- autonomous labs run thousands of experiments overnight while everyone sleeps
- your doctor gets a biological dashboard that catches disease before you feel a symptom
- personalized medicine means getting a treatment designed specifically for your biology
2026 is changing the stakes
we're extrapolating from things that are already working

Accelerate biology?
in the next 3-5 years:
- balding gets solved, real treatments after decades of basically nothing
- testosterone gets adjustable, no more "normal for your age"
- fertility gets decoupled from the biological clock
- organs get lab-grown, a real option instead of a waitlist
- genetic disease gets edited instead of managed for life
- aging gets its first credible human signals of partial reversal
- the immune system gets programmed to clear the cells driving age-related disease
- biological age becomes something you can actually move backwards
- cancer gets more tumors that are treatable, some potentially curable
we're already watching the first versions of all of this happen

Is this logically sound?
Dr. @misraetel's case for why age reversal will reach everyone, fast: Old people run the world.
They run corporations and governments, and none of them want to die.
So when age reversal therapies hit trials, they'll fund them, not block them. And once they have it, keeping it from everyone else becomes politically impossible.
Is it good to be an optimist?
One of the wildest conversations I've had, and it's out tomorrow.
Despite being on steroids, @misraetel believes if he can make it to 50, age-reversal tech will take care of the rest.
Covering GLP-1s, looksmaxxing, genetic engineering, why he thinks superintelligence is going to "take us to the f**king stars" and much more.
