On veut l'antimatière. On veut l'antigravité.

When I graduated college literally every place I looked at that was looking for entry level undergrad with my degree and experience had an explicit DEI page that made it very clear they wouldn’t hire me because I was a White male. Every publicly traded company in America for nearly a decade published “impact reports” where they would BRAG about how they demographically transformed their companies by refusing to hire people that looked like me. There was no ambiguity on what they were doing or why. It was blatantly race based, PROUDLY even. The only ones that have been sued have been universities, which the administration deserves credit for. But the companies, the executives, the HR groups, the state and federal agencies, and now offices of elected officials. These people need to pay in a pound of flesh for this behavior. They need to be afraid to say shit like this less they get bankrupted.
I’m hiring motivated and eager interns for the Spring 2027 semester in my Boston office. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, working class, veterans, and other underrepresented candidates with Massachusetts ties are encouraged to apply. Applications are due Monday, November 9th.

I can scarcely model the mind that would think that UBI would result in anything except moral and intellectual rot. The biggest danger of AI is that it would end up in UBI like Elon said he believes it will.
We have basically introduced a UBI through the back door and there has been zero accompanying renaissance in arts and culture. Just malaise and constant low stakes hustling.

Zero prison time. The UK is a joke. "Due to Shah’s disability and the finding that he was ”unfit to plead” he cannot face a prison sentence for his offending, but the judge will have to decide if a hospital order, a supervision order or a discharge is appropriate in the case."

Start with racial preferences. For years, there was a kind of gentleman's agreement that affirmative action was permissible so long as it was safe, legal, and rare. Conservatives grumbled about reverse racism, sure, and often raised the specter of unqualified diversity hires in fields like medicine and transportation. But outside of college admissions, the GOP tolerated racial preferences provided they weren’t too overt, turning a blind eye to the sort of thumb-on-the-scale discrimination that characterized corporate hiring in the pre-DEI era. But by 2020, that modus vivendi had collapsed. If the old standard for affirmative action was "don't ask, don't tell," the new standard was more like "shout your abortion." Companies advertised fellowships that explicitly excluded whites and Asians, banks lowered interest rates for companies that hit their diversity targets, and both state and private health systems allocated life-saving medical care based on the color of their patients’ skin. It was in this climate of in-your-face racialism that Trump’s anti-DEI agenda was hatched. Every Republican president since Nixon had practiced affirmative action in federal contracting and tolerated it in the private sector so long as it wasn't too overt. Those days are over. As a matter of policy, the GOP is now more hostile to racial preferences now than at any point since 1968. Democrats, meanwhile, are still pursuing the sort of race-based policies that radicalized the right against affirmative action. The two parties are no longer debating how much affirmative action is permissible, in other words. Peak Woke transformed the debate into an all-or-nothing proposition, pitting radical racialism against maximal colorblindness.

For most of my life I was an opponent of the death penalty, but the Leftist determination to find any excuse to put obviously dangers to the community back on the street has completely shifted me to the other side. Execution is the only way to be sure some liberal judge will never find a way to release these people.

The marxist pope has gone so far left that he now wants to save the life of a muslim jihadist terrorist who killed Christians and shot a pregnant woman in the belly in the name of his god. The Roman Catholic Church from its founding in Rome upheld the principle of “lex talionis,” an eye for an eye for cold-blooded murderers. “Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God he made man.” - Genesis 9:6 Romans 13:4: “Rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.” “It must be remembered that power was granted by God, and to avenge crime the sword was permitted; he who carries out this vengeance is God’s minister. What motive have we for condemning a practice that all hold to be permitted by God? (Innocent 1, Epist. 6, C. 3. 8, ad Exsuperium, Episcopum Tolosanum, 20 February 405, PL 20,495) - Pope Innocent I in 405 According to previous popes from 405 up to 1955, Leo XIV is heretic. I wonder what the current pope thinks about abortions.
The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty

I thought it could not get worse than Francis. I was wrong. We now have a papacy that devotes itself to countersignaling Trump 24/7, even when scripture and centuries of the Church's teaching and practice contradict it.
#NoDeathPenalty

Update on the Islamification of America: We have a U.S. Senate candidate who is a dual citizen of Egypt and refuses to disavow Al-Qaeda. Saving our country is on the ballot this November.
"Abdul El-Sayed was asked, 'Who's the greater danger to America: Israel or Iran?' Three times he was asked that he refused to answer." "He criticized Mike Rogers for asking him to condemn Hamas, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, saying they're scary words, but he hasn't condemned them."

It was only through reading the ancients that I truly understood the profound impact of Christianity on the evolution of Western thought and civilization.
Anne Carson just won the Nobel for Literature. Here she is writing about the lack of "direct relevance" of the "ancient things" found in classical Greek texts "to modern things." I've been saying this for years. I just laugh when people say, "It's essential to read the Greeks to understand modern life!"

Vice President JD Vance breaks down the data: "If you are working as an H-1B visa in the United States of America, you’re earning $20,000 less than an American citizen hired in the same position. If you were brought in by one of these foreign outsourcing firms, you’re making $48,000 less than an American citizen in a similar position. So I’m sure that everybody here understands the game that is being played. You bring in indentured servants from outside the country, you lay off American workers and, if you’re a corporation, you make a ton of money by under cutting the wages of American workers, replacing them with people who frankly shouldn’t be in the United States of America to begin with."

Glorious. All 5 WITCH firms decertified, plus MS and Adobe. Just need to add Amazon to the list.
.@Sonderling47: "I am hereby suspending from the Permanent Labor Certification Program some of the largest IT outsourcing firms in the world — Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, and Capgemini — and also, due to multiple active federal investigations, @USDOL is suspending Microsoft and Adobe from the program."

This is an outstanding point. I think particularly of women, whom feminism has taught to build an identity around work and profession while scorning natural impulses family and children. What happens when AI strips these identities of their meaning and value? Entire generations of women tricked out of their lives for something rendered meaningless.
"mathematicians did not ask for this work to be done" we're going to see a lot more of this in a lot of different fields if these people genuinely loved math, they would be throwing parties to celebrate what might be one of the biggest days for mathematics in decades. but instead they're calling for a boycott and it makes me wonder how many of them actually love math, and how many just love being seen as mathematicians. because for a lot of people, the point of studying math isn't necessarily to understand the world, to explain it, or to advance the field. it's to be seen as a mathematician. to have a sense of importance, to feel valued by others. their entire identity is centered around this, and their goal is to be needed and considered smart i think a lot of people are about to realize that what gave their life meaning wasn't really the work itself, but the fact that they were the ones doing it. and i wonder what will happen when this happens to all professions. will we finally be forced to figure out what it means to be human? maybe people will rediscover meaning in family, relationships and things outside of their careers. or maybe millions of people will have an existential crisis because the one thing they've built their entire identity around is suddenly no longer needed i genuinely wonder if society is ready for it

Talarico is a politician, yes, but he is above all a preacher of a heretical creed that seeks to cannibalize Christianity from within and deploy divine authority on behalf of a successor catechism that seeks to equalize outcomes by race and brainwash confused children into being chemically castrated and dismembered as its chief sacrament. His politics are all in the service of this successor theology.
James Talarico: “We have to understand especially for white educators that these violent hierarchies, these systems, white supremacy, heteropatriarchy, economic exploitation, those things have colonized our own minds.”
