The Italian Army (@Esercito) took a step forward in the framework of its comprehensive modernization plan with the delivery of the first #UH169DLight Utility Helicopter (#LUH).
The handover was carried out during an official ceremony held at the Italian Army Aviation’s Headquarters in #Viterbo, Italy, on 28 April in the presence of military and industry representatives and dignitaries. The first UH-169D is part of a total order for 25 units plus support and training, with deliveries expected to be completed by 2027. It follows the delivery of two UH-169B basic training helicopters in 2020, which have been primarily used to allow crew familiarization with the type’s characteristics and facilitate the transition to the advanced multirole variant as its development progressed ahead of handover.

The Republic of Iraq's Minister of Defense has officially taken delivery of the first two #H225M CARACAL 🚁.
These helicopters will soon be operated by the Iraqi Army Aviation for a wide range of missions, including tactical troop transport and Special operations, among others.

The first #AW169 #helicopter for #Canada has been delivered to support emergency medical service (#EMS) missions in #BritishColumbia, with the remaining six scheduled for delivery by January 2025. We are proud to collaborate closely with our partners @LCIaviation, @BabcockCanada, #Ascent, and @BC_EHS to deliver essential services to local communities.
LCI is expanding its fleet with 7 @LDO_Helicopters AW169. They will be leased to @BabcockCanada and subcontracted by Ascent Helicopters to provide EMS operations on behalf of @BC_EHS. They are being placed in LCI's joint venture with SMFL.
