My poor 86 year old aunt lost her husband two years ago and then her only child to cancer. He was 59 she nursed him at home with barely any help. She finally broke down and sent him to hospital he died 2 hrs later she by his side. She is traumatised by what she had to endure 😢
Why on earth does the health system think this is OK? We all need to make a noise. Please like Katie share your stores. I will have no hesitation in compiling de identified data and presenting it to the health minister

I am really so sorry. I had to fight for my mum with heart and kidney failure she wanted to pass at home as well.
Most of the time it was district nurses I have ptsd from it all.
She passed 2 months ago.
Good luck for your PHD.
So yesterday the palliative care twam rang me to say they had received the referral for Mr K and wanted to make a time to come and see him. I told them gently that he died at home two and a half months ago and I sorted out his end of life care myself with support from our GP
What happens to people like us who are doing at home in accordance with the patients wishes? We were OK because of my clinical training and backed by an awesome GP. What happens when people do r have that???

We live in a world filled with darkness, and we are all searching for the light. But how can we find the light when we have turned our backs on Jesus Christ?
But I have good news for you: Jesus Christ has not forgotten you! He has something new for you today, and I am sharing this good news with you through this post.

An honor to share insight into @Pontifex’s lung nodule finding and what it means for him and the general population 😊 🫁
And with November coming up, being lung cancer awareness month, a public service announcement to talk to your clinician if you should be screened 😊

Friends, please join me in praying for our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, as he undergoes surgery this week.
I pray for his comfort, for those who will care for him, and for a swift and full recovery.
@Pontifex, know that we are praying for you, and that you are close to our hearts this week.
Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.
