In London and had an hour free whilst near St Paul’s today … so made a conscious decision to go inside for the first time in years. The Dome and the cathedral are just sensational to be in!
Getting up at 4am for a business flight does have some perks occasionally - sensational sunrise over Heathrow today ☀️🌅🕶️
First time at @IsleOfWightFest this weekend and it did not disappoint! So many highlights!!
Full double rainbow over the station this morning! Stunning way to start the day must be a good omen (trains delayed but hey)
Week in the @ardoqCom New York office started in an unusual way this Monday. Of course we all watched the Solar Eclipse what an experience!!
Definitely the classic April Fools day here. Better even than last years one which was they hate tea. Didn’t fool me for an instant.
All of the above.
List of reasons to have a cup of tea:
-You’ve received good news
-You’ve received bad news
-You’re thirsty
-You’re tired
-You’re cold
-You’re under the weather
-You’re bored
-You need a break
-To make up after an argument
-Because someone else is having one
-To be polite
-Because you’re back from holiday
-Because biscuits are dry
-Because it’s a day ending in Y
-Just because you want one and you don’t ever need a reason so actually just ignore this list
I properly love spring. Took disproportionate pride this weekend in this hanging basket I planted last year. Simple but stunning IMO
Excited to be speaking at the A-Team Insight Data Managment Summit next week @ardoqCom
The annual pancake flipping fail coming up tonight. One day I’ll nail it but I’m pretty sure mine will land on the floor and be eaten by the dog like usual.
Fat, fluffy pancakes soaked in maple syrup?
No thank you! I’m British. I will have thin pancakes, please. Preferably ripped and crumpled after being thrown about a bit, possibly by a child. And I will have some horrible sour lemon on those, please… artificial lemon, ideally, from a plastic bottle shaped like a real lemon. I want to enjoy these pancakes, but not enough to want them again for a whole year.
Much appreciated.
