⚖️🚨 Last year, PG&E filed to surrender its license and begin decommissioning the Potter Valley Project, removing the Scott and Cape Horn Dams because of @GavinNewsom's policy of putting fish over people. Last week, I heard from the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District. A legitimate buyer who expressed strong interest in purchasing the project from PG&E. This would allow @POTUS and @SecretaryBurgum to restart/expand reliable hydroelectric electric generation while keeping both in place. I hope @PGE4Me is taking them seriously! Such a transaction would secure reliable water for 750,000 Californians and hundreds of hardworking farmers who rely on it for irrigation. Putting people and agriculture first. 💧 This continues to advance our Freedom Framework protecting hundreds of producers from losing the water they rely on. Real solutions being offered after @USDA intervening in the FERC proceedings last year. 🇺🇸🦅
🚨⚖️Today, we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Potter Valley farmers and ranchers fighting for one thing: WATER. 💧 The radical push to demolish Scott and Cape Horn Dams is a DISASTER — it would gut the lifeblood these producers need to farm, ranch, and feed America. Families would be left defenseless against brutal drought and raging wildfires. Under California’s extremist leadership, our farmers — the true stewards of the land and nation’s original conservationists — are being sacrificed on the altar of eco-fanaticism. Let’s be crystal clear: ✅ We do NOT tear down dams. ✅ The needs of fish do NOT outweigh the needs of PEOPLE. ✅ We stand UNAPOLOGETICALLY with farmers. Thank you, @keelymbc, for amplifying the raw stories of families impacted here. Without water, there is no farming. Without farmers, there is no nation. 🇺🇸🌾 #StandWithFarmers #SavethePotterValleyProject!

EMOTIONAL NIGHT LAST NIGHT: I went to McDonald’s for a quick meal, a place I rarely visit, but I’ve been cooped up at home due to this virus and my recent knee surgery. When I got to the drive-thru, a young man handed me my coffee. I noticed the cuts on his wrists, and tears started flowing. When he returned with my food, he looked at me and asked, “Sir, are you okay?” I replied, “I’ll be okay if you promise me to keep fighting. I can see your peace has been drained and your happiness has been stolen, but God is preparing to grant you a joy that can never be taken from you.” I pulled away and sat in the parking lot to collect myself. About five minutes later, that young man came running out to my car, tears streaming down his face, asking me to pray with him. He said it was the first day in four years that he felt alive and cared for. That day, he gave his life to Christ! I’ll be meeting his parents later this week to help him get the support he needs. Church doors may be closed, but God is still moving. Please continue to pray for our young people. We are all in this together! Credit - animal discovery

I am waiting for my order at Chick-fil-Missippi. I overheard a man talking to the cashier. He asked, “I’d like to buy something to eat, but all I have is $5.” Curious, I looked up and saw he was carrying a backpack and holding a $5 bill. He looked like he might be homeless or going through a tough time. As he checked the menu, he quickly realized that $5 wouldn’t be enough. The cashier started offering him suggestions, and he placed an order. When she asked what he’d like to drink, he paused, thinking about it, and then she surprised him by saying, “Don’t worry, your breakfast is on me.” I took this picture because it moved me. She could have asked her manager for help or given him only a small item, but she didn’t—she simply told him it was on her. In customer service, I’ve had some of the best training, including Dale Carnegie, but in a brief three-minute exchange, Karina, a Chick-fil-A employee in Jackson, Mississippi, reminded me of the true value of kindness and caring for people. It’s not just the food that makes this place special; it’s people like Karina who do. May God bless her with the same love and kindness she deserves.
