Meet our 2025 Rolling Stone Australia Awards Best Single winner @thelmaplum
The music industry is nothing without great songs. And great hits. Australia’s own Thelma Plum is a world-class songwriter. Hailing from Brisbane, Thelma made the music world sit up and take notice with ‘Better In Blak’, winner of the 2020 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition.
Thelma’s second studio album, I'm Sorry, Now Say It Back, arrived in 2024. A top 10 ARIA Hit, it’s a collection of gorgeous, personal works. One of the standouts, ‘Freckles,’ is an infectious number that hooks you right in and stays the distance. It’s the winner for best single at the 2025 Rolling Stone Australia Awards.
