Flackwell Heath Football Club is delighted to announce that Mark Nisbet has been appointed as the club’s new First Team Manager 🔴⚪️ Following the recent departures of Chris Ayres and Paul Shone the club feels Mark is the perfect natural replacement and the ideal person to lead the team into this exciting new chapter. Mark has been a huge part of Flackwell Heath for many years both as a player and most recently as a Senior Player Coach. Having stepped into a coaching role and played an important part within the first team setup, the club believes this is the right time for Mark to take the next step and lead the team from the dugout. The club is hugely excited about this new start and believes the smooth transition will allow the team to continue the promising start they have made to the season. “I am delighted and proud to be asked to be manager of this great club. It holds a place in my heart because I started here when I was 9 years old and started my football journey. I am looking forward to trying to maintain the high standards left behind from Chris and Paul.” Mark Nisbet Mark is currently putting his management team together and we will announce the full team as soon as everything has been finalised. “I’m working hard with Terry behind the scenes to get the correct management team around to make sure we can continue to grow as a club.” Mark Nisbet Everyone at Flackwell Heath Football Club would like to wish Mark every success in his new role. A new chapter begins. ❤️🤍 #Heathens

Flackwell Heath Football Club can confirm that Paul Shone has made the difficult decision to step down from his role as Assistant Manager. Paul’s decision follows Chris Ayres’s decision to step down as Manager. While Paul is understandably shocked and still coming to terms with Chris’s decision he fully respects and understands it. Paul feels that with Chris departing this is the right time to allow a new management team to come in, bring fresh ideas and new voices to the team and ultimately do what is best for Flackwell Heath Football Club. Paul has been a huge part of the club over many years both as a player and in various managerial roles. His latest spell alongside Chris has lasted four and a half years during which Paul played a major role in the success the club achieved including being part of the management team that secured the league title and brought Step 4 football to Wilks Park. The club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Paul for everything he has given during his time with the first team. He is a huge character around Flackwell and will undoubtedly be sorely missed. We are also extremely grateful that Paul has agreed to remain with the club for as long as required while a new management team is put in place. This is a true reflection of how much Flackwell Heath means to Paul and the commitment he has always shown to the club. Thankfully, Paul won’t be a stranger around Wilks Park, as he will continue his involvement with the club by managing his son’s Under-15s team and will continue to support the club. Paul would also like to personally thank everyone at the club who has gone above and beyond to support him and help him perform his role to the best of his ability, as well as every player he has had the privilege of working with. Thank you for everything Shoney! Once a Heathen, always a Heathen ❤️🤍 #Heathens
