Amazing work from Amber! An important part of hearing dog training is to build confidence visiting busy public spaces, and not becoming distracted by interesting sights & smells. Amber has been sailing through her training and making it all look easy. Well done Team Amber 🥰

Clever Koko's almost there! Whether it’s waking her future deaf partner up to the alarm clock, taking them to the cooker timer, or alerting to a danger sound, Koko is nearly ready for the job. All that's left is her final training assessment! Best of luck Team Koko 👏

A bit of train spotting for Flynn 🚆 It's important that Flynn feels confident in this environment in case his future deaf partner travels by train. He did a fantastic job taking it all in, and was completely unfazed by the trains going past. Well done Team Flynn! 🐾

"I'm just listening, but in a different way" Lipreading is about more than reading lips and Peer Support Volunteer, Philip, describes it perfectly! Sometimes though the eyebrows are so good you can't help but watch them 👀

Taking it back to basics 🐾 Oakley, Aston and Peanut have been practising their 'sits' and 'downs' on different surfaces. Repetition is key, and it's important they can do these skills confidently, whether on soft mats or hard floors. 🐶
