Amazon Smile shutting down is extremely disappointing.
Not because of what it raised for any individual charity - most donations were modest - but the fact that Amazon will now hand pick charities that align w/ corporate interests, gatekeeping millions of worthy charities.
We’re just one of so many small charities who’s income will dip with the closure of #amazonsmile Smaller, regular donations help provide a reliable foundation of support for our clients & at a time when supporters are struggling the CoL crisis, Smile was a valuable source 😔
