本日、28歳の誕生日を迎えることができました🎂 そして、いつの間にかXでも1000人以上の方にフォローしていただいていました。 せっかくの節目なので、この一年、そしてこれまでの麻雀との歩みを少し振り返ってみたいと思います。 高校時代に始めた麻雀が、気づけば12年もの間、自分の人生の大切な一部になっていました。 まさか当時の自分が、12年後に世界麻雀 プロとして活動し、日本の大会やイベントに参加したり、世界中の様々な方々と麻雀を通じてつながったりしているとは想像もしていませんでした。 WRCのチーム戦で、海外の仲間たちと力を合わせて優勝できたことも、忘れられない大切な思い出の一つです。 そして何より、麻雀を通じて、国や言葉の違いを越えて、本当にたくさんの方々とつながることができたことを嬉しく思っています。 一緒に打ってくださる皆さん、応援してくださる皆さん、そしていつも温かく見守ってくださる皆さん、本当にありがとうございます。 皆さんとの出会いがあったからこそ、この一年は自分にとって特別なものになりました。 これからも麻雀をもっと深く学びながら、少しでも麻雀の楽しさを多くの方に伝えられるように頑張ります🀄️ 28歳の一年も、たくさんの出会いを大切にしながら、自分らしく成長していきたいです。 これからもよろしくお願いいたします😊 ————————————— Today, I turned 28 🎂 And somehow, I also reached over 1,000 followers on X. Since this feels like a meaningful milestone, I wanted to take a moment to look back on this past year, and also my journey with mahjong so far. I started playing riichi mahjong when I was in high school, and before I knew it, it had become an important part of my life for the past 12 years. Looking back, I never could have imagined that 12 years later, I would be playing mahjong as a World Riichi Pro, taking part in tournaments and events in Japan, and connecting with so many wonderful people around the world through mahjong. Winning the WRC team championship together with my teammates overseas, and working towards the same goal as a team, is also a memory I will always treasure. More than anything, I am grateful that mahjong has allowed me to connect with so many people across different countries and languages. Thank you so much to everyone I have played with, everyone who has supported me, and everyone who has always encouraged me along the way. It is because of the people I have met through mahjong that this past year has become such a special one for me. I will continue to deepen my understanding of mahjong and do my best to share the joy of this game with more people 🀄️ In my 28th year, I hope to continue cherishing every new connection and keep growing in my own way. 無事にロンドンに戻りました✈️ 今回の日本滞在も、本当にたくさんの思い出ができました。 初めて若獅子戦に挑戦できたこと、道場やイベントでたくさんの方と麻雀を打てたこと、久しぶりにお会いできた方も、今回初めて出会えた方もいたこと。 一つ一つの時間が、私にとって本当に大切な経験になりました。 東京では麻雀三昧、北海道では自然と美味しいものを満喫して、最後までとても充実した滞在でした😊 今回もあっという間で、もう少し長くいられたらと思ってしまいました。 今回の滞在を通して、日本語をもっと勉強したいという気持ちがさらに強くなりました。 まだまだうまく伝えられないことも多い中、皆さんがいつも優しく話しかけてくださったことが本当に嬉しかったです。 もっと皆さんといろいろなお話ができるようになりたくて、オンラインの日本語レッスンにも申し込みました📚 次に日本に来る時には、今よりもう少し自然に日本語で皆さんとお話しできたら嬉しいです(^^) 今回もたくさんの方と一緒に卓を囲んだり、お話ししたりできたことが本当に嬉しかったです。 今回ご一緒してくださった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました。 次に皆さんにお会いする時には、麻雀も日本語も今より少し上達していたいです🀄️✨ そして日本での最後のごはんも、やっぱりラーメンでした…🍜( ´ ▽ ` )笑 最後まで私らしい旅になりました。笑 また日本でお会いしましょう！🇯🇵 ———————————— I’ve made it safely back to London ✈️ Once again, this trip to Japan has left me with so many wonderful memories. Competing in the Wakajishi tournament for the first time, playing mahjong with so many people at the dojo and different events, seeing familiar faces again, and meeting so many people for the first time, every one of those moments became a truly valuable experience for me. Tokyo was filled with mahjong, while in Hokkaido I got to enjoy the beautiful nature and so much delicious food. It was such a full and memorable trip from beginning to end 😊 Once again, the trip went by far too quickly, and I found myself wishing I could stay a little longer. This trip also made me want to study Japanese even more. There are still many times when I struggle to express myself properly, but I was genuinely so happy that everyone was always so kind and made the effort to talk to me. I want to be able to talk with everyone about so many more things, so I’ve signed up for online Japanese lessons too 📚 Hopefully, the next time I come to Japan, I’ll be able to speak a little more naturally with everyone in Japanese(^^) I was also really happy to be able to sit around the mahjong table and spend time talking with so many people again this trip. Thank you so much to everyone I had the chance to spend time with. By the next time I see you all, I hope both my mahjong and my Japanese will have improved a little 🀄️✨ And somehow, my last meal in Japan ended up being ramen yet again…🍜( ´ ▽ ` ) haha I guess it really was a very “me” kind of trip right until the end. 今日は朝のうちに近くの牧場へ🐄🌿 そこでいただいたソフトクリームが本当に美味しかったです！🍦✨ ミルクの味が濃厚なのにすっきりしていて、さすが北海道だなと思いました😊 北海道に来てから、もう何個目のソフトクリームか分からなくなってきました…🍦😂 このままだと、帰る頃には少し丸くなっていそうです…( ´ ▽ ` )笑 その後ホテルに戻ったら、まさかの大雨☔️ 外に出るのは難しそうだったので、ホテルでゆっくりしながら味噌ラーメンとザンギをいただきました。 豚骨味噌ラーメンには北海道産のスイートコーンも🌽🍜 濃厚な味噌のスープがとても美味しかったです！ そしてザンギも初めていただきました✨ 普段食べる唐揚げとはまた少し違う感じで、山わさびのソースもすごく好みでした😳 昨日は大自然、今日は北海道の美味しいもの。 雨の日も、これはこれでいいですね(^^) ———————————— I went to a nearby farm this morning 🐄🌿 The soft serve there was absolutely delicious! 🍦✨ It was rich and milky but still really refreshing, it definitely made me think, “Hokkaido dairy really is something else” 😊 I’ve already lost count of how many soft serves I’ve had since coming to Hokkaido…🍦😂 At this rate, I might be a little rounder by the time I leave…( ´ ▽ ` )haha Then after I got back to the hotel, it suddenly started pouring ☔️ It didn’t look like going out again would be much fun, so I took it easy at the hotel and had some miso ramen and zangi instead. The tonkotsu miso ramen even came with Hokkaido sweet corn 🌽🍜 The rich miso broth was really delicious! I also tried zangi for the first time ✨ It felt a little different from the karaage I usually have, and I really liked the mountain wasabi sauce too 😳 Yesterday was all about nature, and today was all about good food in Hokkaido. A rainy day like this isn’t so bad after all(^^)

北海道では、少しゆっくり自然を満喫しています🌿 羊蹄山が本当にきれいでした！⛰️✨ 写真で見る以上に迫力があって、ずっと眺めていたくなる景色でした。 そして、地元のガイドさんに教えていただきながら、初めて川での釣りにも挑戦してきました🎣 釣れた魚はすぐにリリース(^^) 東京では麻雀三昧でしたが、北海道では自然三昧です…！笑 やっぱり自然の中で過ごす時間が大好きです😊 —————————— I’ve been taking things a little more slowly in Hokkaido and enjoying all the nature around me 🌿 Mt. Yotei was absolutely beautiful! ⛰️✨ It was even more impressive in person than in photos, the kind of view you could just keep looking at forever. I also tried river fishing for the first time, with some guidance from a local guide 🎣 The fish I caught went straight back into the river(^^) Tokyo was all about mahjong, but Hokkaido has been all about nature…! haha I really do love spending time surrounded by nature 😊

東京で過ごす最後の夜は、やっぱり道場へ！🀄️ 今日は道場の九周年祭でした🎉 リニューアルした道場は本当にきれいで、17時のオープン直後からほぼ満卓！ とても盛り上がっていて、道場全体がすごく楽しい雰囲気でした😊 久しぶりにお会いできた方や、今回の滞在中に何度もお会いした方など、たくさんの方にまたお会いできたのも嬉しかったです(^^) 今日は2半荘だけでしたが、結果もかなり良く、気持ちよく打ち終えることができました✨ くじではプロのカードもいろいろ引けて、最後まで楽しかったです！ そして、いつも温かく迎えてくださる道場スタッフの皆さんにも本当に感謝です。 今日の九周年祭も含め、いつも楽しい時間を作ってくださってありがとうございます！ 九周年、本当におめでとうございます🎉 東京最後の夜まで、やっぱり麻雀でした…！笑 道場で締めくくることができてよかったです😊 ——————————— For my last night in Tokyo, I ended up back at the dojo — of course! 🀄️ Today was the dojo’s 9th anniversary celebration 🎉 The newly renovated dojo looks fantastic, and it was already almost full right after the doors opened at 5pm! The whole place was so lively, with such a fun atmosphere 😊 I was also really happy to see so many familiar faces again — some I hadn’t seen in a while, and others I’ve had the chance to meet several times during this trip(^^) I only played two hanchan today, but the results went very well, so it was a nice way to finish my mahjong for the evening ✨ I also pulled quite a few pro cards from the raffle, so there was plenty of fun right until the end! And a huge thank you to all the dojo staff who always make me feel so welcome. Thank you for always creating such a fun place to spend time, including today’s anniversary celebration! Congratulations on 9 years! 🎉 Even on my very last night in Tokyo, it was still mahjong after all…! haha I’m really glad I got to finish this part of my trip at the dojo 😊

ということで、今日は天下一品へ！🍜 前におすすめしていただいていたので、ずっと気になっていました😊 今回は「屋台の味」のラーメンに豚トロをトッピングして、半チャーハンと唐揚げもいただきました！ 一蘭や魁力屋とはまた全然違うタイプで、ラーメンって本当にお店によって個性がありますね(^^) そして意外だったのが唐揚げ！ 思っていた以上に好みの味で、すごく美味しかったです😳✨ おすすめありがとうございました！ ラーメン巡り、まだまだ続きそうです…笑 明日からは北海道なので、もしタイミングよく美味しいラーメンに出会えたら嬉しいです🍜 日本各地のおすすめも、ぜひ教えてください(^^) 今回行けなくても、次に日本に来た時の楽しみに取っておきます✨ ————————— So, today I finally made it to Tenkaippin! 🍜 It had been recommended to me before, so I’d been wanting to try it for a while 😊 I went for the “Yatai no Aji” ramen with pork toro, plus a half portion of fried rice and some karaage! It was completely different again from both Ichiran and Kairikiya — ramen really does have so much personality depending on the shop(^^) And the unexpected highlight was the karaage! It suited my taste much more than I expected and was really delicious 😳✨ Thank you for the recommendation! Looks like my ramen tour is still going strong… haha I’m heading to Hokkaido tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll happen to come across some good ramen there too 🍜 And please keep sending me your ramen recommendations from all over Japan(^^) Even if I can’t make it this time, I’ll save them for something to look forward to on my next trip ✨

前回おすすめしていただいた魁力屋に、今日行ってきました！🍜 京都背脂醤油肉入りラーメンと焼きめしをいただきました😊 一蘭とはまた全然違う美味しさで、とても美味しかったです！ おすすめありがとうございました✨ こうやって少しずつ新しいラーメンを開拓していくのも楽しいですね(^^) ラーメン巡り、まだまだ続きそうです…笑 次は天下一品も行ってみないとですね！🍜 —————————— I finally tried Kairikiya today after it was recommended to me last time! 🍜 I had the Kyoto-style back-fat soy sauce ramen with extra pork, along with fried rice 😊 It was completely different from Ichiran, but really delicious in its own way! Thank you so much for the recommendation ✨ It’s really fun gradually discovering more ramen places like this. Looks like my ramen tour is going to keep going for a while… haha I guess Tenkaippin has to be next! 🍜

今日はマースタ松戸店へ！ 久しぶりに小林剛プロにお会いできました😊 いつものように麻雀もとても勉強になりましたし、久しぶりにお話しできて本当に嬉しかったです。 今日も以前お会いした方々とたくさん再会できて、とても楽しい時間になりました✨ 写真では剛さんに続いて、雷電＆EARTH JETSのポーズも😂 これは著作権的にセーフでしょうか…？笑 麻雀では、久しぶりに嶺上開花も和了！ 「リンシャン」を名乗っている以上、たまには出しておかないとですね😂🀄️ 剛さん、そして今日ご一緒した皆さん、ありがとうございました！ —————————— Today I went to Marsta Matsudo! It had been a while since I last saw Go Kobayashi Pro 😊 As always, I learned so much from the mahjong today, and I was really happy to have the chance to talk with him again. I was also able to meet many familiar faces again, so it turned into a really fun day ✨ In the photo, I followed Go-san’s lead and did the Raiden & EARTH JETS poses too 😂 Hopefully this is copyright-safe…? haha I also won a hand with Rinshan Kaihou for the first time in a while! 今夜は日本プロ麻雀連盟の道場へ！ 久しぶりにHIRO柴田プロと同卓させていただきました😊 前回のようなメンゼン小四喜こそありませんでしたが、今日もやっぱり本当に強くて、またしてもやられてしまいました…！笑 前田直哉プロ、山内梨乃香プロにもご挨拶できて、とても嬉しかったです。 新しくなった道場もとてもきれいで、雰囲気も素晴らしく、楽しい時間を過ごせました。 今日はたくさんの方に温かく声をかけていただき、本当に驚きましたし、とても嬉しかったです。 まだうまく伝えられないことも多いですが、皆さん優しく話してくださって、本当にありがとうございました。 今日ご一緒した皆さん、ありがとうございました！🀄✨ ————————————— Tonight I visited the Japan Professional Mahjong League dojo! It had been a while since I last played with HIRO Shibata Pro 😊 There was no repeat of the closed Shousuushi from last time, but he was just as incredibly strong as ever, and I was defeated by him once again…! haha I was also very happy to say hello to Naoya Maeda Pro and Rinoka Yamauchi Pro. The newly renovated dojo was beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderful, and I had such a great time. I was genuinely surprised and very touched by how many people warmly came up to speak to me today. There are still many things I can’t express well yet, but everyone spoke with me so kindly. Thank you so much. Thank you to everyone I played with and met today! 🀄✨

Thank you so much to everyone who supported and cheered me on. It was a tough day at the tables and, of course, I’m disappointed with the result, but I learned so much from my first Wakajishi Tournament. Just having the opportunity to compete on this stage was an incredibly valuable experience. I’ll take both the disappointment and everything I learned today with me, and I’ll be back to challenge the Wakajishi Tournament again! I had the chance to play with Sumire Todo Pro, Kota Tanaka Pro, and Chapman Pro 😊 Everyone was so warm and kind, and it was a great final practice session in a really enjoyable atmosphere. 昨夜は瀬戸熊直樹プロのイベントへ！ 幸運にも初めて同卓することができました😊 終盤の親番では、まさかの「クマクマタイム」発動！ 怒涛の連荘で、最後は圧倒的なトップに。初同卓でその強さを間近で体感できて、本当にすごかったです…！🐻 知り合いの方々との再会や、初めて声をかけてくださった方々との交流もあり、会場の温かい雰囲気の中でとても楽しい夜を過ごせました。 瀬戸熊プロ、そしてご一緒した皆さん、ありがとうございました！ ————————— Last night, I went to an event with Naoki Setokuma Pro and was lucky enough to share a table with him for the first time 😊 During one of his dealer turns near the end, the legendary “Kuma Kuma Time” suddenly began! He went on an incredible run of consecutive wins and finished with an overwhelming first place. Experiencing his strength up close on our very first game together was truly impressive…! 🐻 It was also lovely to catch up with familiar faces and meet people who kindly came over to say hello for the first time. The atmosphere was so warm, and I had a wonderful evening. Thank you to Setokuma Pro and everyone I met!
