I used to worry about games like today like “damn this hurts us for home field advantage if we make the playoffs” but the Ravens choke at home just as much as they do on the road in the playoffs

That game had everything that makes up a classic Ravens choke
A fumble
Poor OL play
Crucial DPI
Big penalty
Bizarre officiating
Just the full Ravens Chokeartist suite

Choker DNA just doesn’t go away.
Absolutely pathetic performance from the offense.

At first, I thought that was really good defensive discipline from the Ravens to not fall for the trick play. And it was. But it was also a horrible design. The only target for your WR to throw to is a 40-yard post??? Todd, c'mon bud...

Ravens WR Ja’Kobi Lane (wrist) is ‘good to go’ after a full practice slate this week, per source, which should facilitate his activation off Injured Reserve for Sunday vs. Cleveland.

I love Monk so much I don’t even have it in me to get overly disrespectful with the Browns 💔
Todd Monken on Zay Flowers:
"From the moment he got there, his skillset was beyond a novelty. You could see that his ability to route run and stay full speed, his balance & body control is elite. His personality, what he brought every single day in terms of work. ... We certainly were trying to put Zay in position to catch as many balls as he could. I don't care how many balls you get him, it's not enough."

The risk of re-injury isn’t worth coming back prematurely. He will back back next week💪🏼
If I’m being completely honest, I could see Lamar missing 3 weeks. Here’s why:
1. Eversion (interior) ankle sprains are much less common than Inversion (exterior) ankle sprains. The thing that complicates these types of sprains are how the deltoid ligament can be affected when stretched.
2. The deltoid ligament is one of the strongest in the body, and takes a decent amount of force to injure. Because of this, it also can take a little longer to recover from of how much kinetic energy the ligament produces.
3. Rarely ever is an eversion ankle sprain an isolated injury. Most of the time is accompanied by a minor bone bruise or a high ankle sprain. Since they ruled out surgery already, I’d assume the collateral damage isn’t too bad.
4. All in all, this week I’d give Lamar around a 5% chance to play. If all goes perfect, he could possibly return to play but wouldn’t nearly be at full health and would risk worsening the injury severely. Weeks 2-3 are still up in the air, but I’d assume he’d like to be back for both AFC North matchups against the Browns and Bengals. If he does return I wouldn’t expect him to be nearly as mobile as the first few weeks of the season.
