Challenger Curitiba ๐ง๐ท
Gustavo Heide 2-0 @ 1.80 / -125
Hit ๐๐๐๐ - If Youโre Tailing โค๏ธ
Iโm going against my own basic rules with this bet because words can not describe how much I hate the โ2-0โ markets, I think they show me no remorse and hardly ever offer value but in this case after you hear what I have to say, you can make the choice if its something you want to tail. I know the word โMAX BETโ is thrown around this app but I have actually been very reserved in these spots, we are nearly at the end of the year and I have only posted three before this, showing the discipline when it comes to these spots and I only take them when I am extremely confident.
If you remember my write up on Murphy Cassone a few days ago, I said if there is one thing I can do right, itโs spot a guy who is getting hot and I think we are going to be extremely early on this Gustavo Heide band wagon over the next few months. Gustavo Heide is seriously invested in his tennis career at this moment, he is on the cusp of breaking the top 100, he is recording some of his biggest wins, he is venturing outside of South America and finding success in the process and I think over the next few months, we are going to see him inside the top 100 for the first time.
This match is going to be played in Brazil, against an Argentinian opponent, so you already know the crowd is going to be pro Heide. I also donโt want you to worry about the Davis Cup turnaround because he. Has had more than enough time to prepare, he has actually been in Curitiba for a few days now practising on these courts and I think he is going to be full of confidence after beating Wawrinka there anyway. In fact, I saw an interview of him after the match and he was saying things like how he really needed this win and it has given him so much confidence. He also mentioned how these next few tournaments are really important to him for his ranking goals, so there is no question about Heides motivation coming into this match.
In terms of play style, Heide isnโt your usual clay rat, he is very physically imposing, he can generate power, he can land big serves and he can maintain consistency in rallies but he aims to dictate the rallies with his power whenever he can. He is extremely comfortable loading up a big serve and following it up with a forehand winner, he can take the ball early and is very good at it, which is great trait to have.
His opponent, Hernan Casanova is a very average clay rat, he is 32 years old and has never even cracked the top 200, he plays exclusively in South America, he has retired in two of his last four matches and in all honesty he absolutely nothing to offer Heide to make this match competitive, he has beaten Heide before back in 2021 when Heide was an undeveloped baby and Heide actually avenges that loss last year beating him dominantly. The difference now is Heide is playing the most confident tennis of his career and Casanova is leaving his prime, was never anything special in the first place and is possibly physically hampered. This is genuinely a lamb to the slaughter type of matchup. Casanova has absolutely nothing to offer here and is in a hostile environment.
I even managed to get the lovely people at Vega to boost this market for us, with a decent max bet limit ($1,200) and if you want to make use of that iโll leave a link to tail below but you can pick this up on any other book for odds of 1.55 / -175.
You have the motivation factor, top 100 status on the line and the better tennis player by a country mile. Gustavo Heide will dominate this guy.

Look, I absolutely do not want to sell you any dreams with this one, you need to understand this kid is a child, largely untested in best of five and is still undeveloped at the top level.
Iโm going to also say this, when Moise Kouame was first making waves I just was not buying the hype but the kid grew on me you know, iโm not saying heโs another Monfils but man I just find it insane how Gael Monfils finishes his last ever Roland Garros and the next day a kid who reminds me very much of him is about to make his debut, its almost like some written in the stars type of shitโฆ go on, tell me iโm wrong?
He has that same explosiveness and athleticism Monfils had, his defensive capabilities are amazing and he loves counter puncher and he can transition between offence and defence. These types of tools Moise Kouame has are also the type of tools players who have found success on slow clay have excelled in.
Marin Cillic has probably been playing tennis longer than Kouame has been alive but this sport, especially on clay is a young mans sport and Cillicโs serve and power canโt be overlooked on any type of courts, even slow clay and it is concerning to consider the power difference between these two but I just have a questionโฆ.
What happens is Moise Kouame is able to consistently extend rallies? Look when the kid played Ugo Humbert recently there was a statistic that will paint a picture and the statistic was Kouame won almost all of the rallies that got past 8 shots, showing how elite his movement and defensive skills already are and man Iโm just so excited to see him get to work in morning, remember you saw this here FIRST.

They questioned my sanity, they said do you not remember what Kouame did to us a few days ago but they donโt understand iโm coming with mamba mentality, I lost money betting on you? No problem, iโll pick my spot and get it back sooner or later. One bad performance from Kouame a few days ago doesnโt delete the mass of talent he has and this is why you always give people a second chance!

I just got off the phone with the cartel, they told me everything is in place for another dominant winner in South Americaโฆ jokes aside, Daniel Elahi Galan is someone I canโt wrap my finger around these days because part of me thinks he is washed and on his way out but the other part of me remembers betting on this guy religiously during grand slam qualifications 2-3 years ago and he would always respect the coin.
I think playing in Colombia is going to be good for him and I think Juan Pablo Varillas is another washed up player so it kind of evens the playing field, I want to see Galan roll back the years here for the home crowd. Galan has taken a much needed break and is fresh as can be and now is back home after an unsuccessful stint in Europe.
I just got word from my insider boots on the ground in Lyon that Moise Kouame was FURIOUS to hear what Svitolina did to Monfils and he is saying he will take the anger out on Lorenzo Sonego

Look, I am by no means perfect but did you know I have given you a +200 or higher winner every day for the last three days, this is what I do best you know and it really hurts because I would have gone bigger but I had a bad start to the day and you question yourself, you know how hard it was to even post this bet? Mikhail Kukushkin is 38 years old and hasnโt played tennis in months and if he did lose I would have been looking at an AWFUL day but I said trust the process and let me tell you right now I am so fucking glad I did. The bookmakers must have confused Stefanos Sakellardis with Stefanos Tsitsipas with this price!!! Kukushkin has been a pioneer of Kazakhstan tennis so I am so happy for him to get the win too! He literally had Alexander Bublik and Rublev getting him ready, he had his wife and kid sat there AND YOU THOUGHT UNCLE WASNโT GOING TO DO IT?

Look guys, I am 100% not in the business of betting on 38 year olds in tennis but this spot feels like an exception. I know Mikhail is a Russian by blood but he didnโt change nationality because of the war, he has represented Kazakhstan since 2008 because they offered to fund his career, which Russia would not do.
This could potentially be his last ever match and they are making a big deal of it because there has been alot of media attention from the event, they even have Bublik there for him and they are giving him the centre stage and the prime time slot. Kukushkin announced his retirement back in June and said this will be his last tournament. He said, he wants to finish his career in Almaty. Knowing that this is his last dance it creates a unique factor that books donโt consider. Kukushkin is as seasoned as they come and has plenty of indoor hardcourt experience and his opponent is of course talented and a talent but he has just played 25 matches in his career at pro level on indoor hard courts.
I just think Kukushkin has saved every bit of energy he has left for this run and its not going to end at the first hurdle, I think he is going to come out here and get a huge win.

I am only risking one unit here but that doesnโt actually represent my confidence level here, I am risking only a single unit because it is Tristan Boyer and we can only trust Boyer as far as we can throw him but iโve been very vocal about what I think about his game on clay and at the end of the day iโve been preaching to the masses how overrated Elmer Moller really is and in slower conditions he can really turn into an unforced error machine, Iโll HAPPILY back Boyer here. Last add on of the day, next post is the daily recap, letโs make it a good one.

Gael Monfils deserves better
Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils are ending their marriage ๐
Elina shared this message on IG:
โThis is the most difficult thing I have ever had to share.
Everyone knows how much Ukraine means to me. What I have rarely spoken about is what the war has done to me inside.
Last year, I told you I needed to step away from the court because I wasn't in the right emotional space. Today, I want to open up a little more. What you didn't see were the sleepless nights, the doubts, and the feeling of slowly losing myself.
Gaรซl saw all of it. He never let go of my hand. We fought through this together for a long time, with everything we had.
But some battles happen deep inside you, and no amount of love from someone else can win them for you.
With time, I came to understand that I need to find my way back to myself and that I cannot do that within our marriage. It is the hardest truth I have ever had to face and the hardest thing I have ever had to tell the person I love. Gaรซl listened. He has respected what I need with a strength and grace I will never forget.
Gael has loved me through my greatest joys and my darkest moments, and I have loved him with all my heart. Together, we built a beautiful life, and we were given the most precious gift of all, our daughter, Skai.
Skai will always come first. Our marriage is ending, but our family is not. We will always be her parents, side by side, at every step of her life.
Please know that there is no one to blame here. There are only two people who loved each other deeply and a story that is changing shape.
We ask for your kindness and for the space we need to heal.
Thank you for your love ๐คโ
