After 188 years on the iconic cobbled Main St in Haworth, home of the Brontës, our great Post Office was shut down in July 2022. We need a proper PO!

In July we fund raised in order to pay the rent on the PO building, should that be necessary. We promised to donate any left over funds to @SRManorlands In the end, we didn't have to pay the rent; we refunded some very large donations and have today donated £275 to Manorlands.

The PO Outreach which usually operates on Mondays at the Black Bull on Haworth Main St will NOT be there on Monday 19 September. Instead it will be there on Wednesday 21 September between 10 and 12. – at Yorkshire and The Humber, England

It's so sad for the elderly and vulnerable residents
(plus the businesses) who are going to really struggle without it. 2 hours a week in the Black Bull and a much lesser service in the Coop down in the bottom of the village.
