Watertown trailed St. Boni 5-1 in the bottom of the 8th in a state qualifier/elimination game in District 7B and rallied to win.
Plato trailed Carver 3-0 in a state qualifier/elimination game in District 7B and rallied to win in the bottom of the 13th inning with a steal of home.
Now they are both playing for the state championship. Whatever happens today, it's been a banner year for the CRVL. It's been an unbelievable ride for both teams.
Looking forward to capping off an incredible year of coverage with one more game between two great teams who deserve to be in this spot. See you at the park one last time.

Joe Schleper's name graces Shakopee's baseball stadium. But his family continues to make an impact in the community and the sport he loved.

Our hearts go out to family and @WatertownDevils
Absolutely terrible news hearing that Jeremy Quaas has passed away.
Quaas was much more than just a Watertown Red Devils super fan. He was a huge supporter of the CRVL and amateur baseball as a whole. He was at nearly every state tournament game that featured a CRVL team as he supported the league even when Watertown didn't make it. Beyond that, he was such a great person to talk to, cared about everyone around him, and made being part of the CRVL that much better.
RIP Jeremy.
Red Devils will certainly be playing with some heavy hearts tonight.
