In 1772, the colonists had no right to trees over 12" thick, not even if it was in their front yard.
A law reserved every white pine that size for the Royal Navy's masts. Surveyors roamed New Hampshire slashing a mark into the trees, claiming them for the King of England.
The mill owners of Weare ignored the law and cut the trees they wanted to. So the sheriff rode out to arrest them and collect the fines.
The Weare men blackened their faces and went after the sheriff in what is now called the Pine Tree Riot. They gave him a lash for every tree he'd charged them for. Then they cropped the ears and tails off his horses and sent him riding out of town through a jeering crowd.
Before the Boston Tea Party and the Boston Massacre, a New Hampshire town defied the Crown.
And the pine tree symbol remained. When Washington needed a flag for his first warships in 1775, he put a New England pine on it, over the words "An Appeal to Heaven."
This turned something that the King used to tyrannize the colonists to support his Navy, into a symbol of a country defying him on their own Navy.

On the morning of October 7th, Lieutenant Colonel Or Ben Yehuda, Commander of the Caracal Battalion, looked up to see a nightmare unfolding: hundreds of terrorists charging over sand dunes in pickup trucks and motorcycles. Behind her stood just 12 of her fighters. Outnumbered, outgunned, and staring directly into the abyss.
Most people would freeze. Or Ben Yehuda turned to her soldiers, looked death in the face, and smiled.
“Come on, let’s tear them apart.”
What followed was hours of pure, relentless valor. Firing until the barrels burned. Taking out trucks with anti-tank missiles. Killing a terrorist leaping at her from point-blank range with a split-second trigger pull. Guiding a lone tank with hand signals through thick smoke, coordinating rescue choppers under fire, and shielding the kibbutzim behind them with nothing but pure grit and unyielding willpower.
When the smoke finally settled, she walked slowly down the line of fallen soldiers—angels and lions who gave everything so others could live—gently stroking their faces, whispering apologies, and softly closing their eyes.
Between an overwhelming horde of terror and thousands of sleeping civilians stood twelve fighters led by a woman who refused to yield an inch of ground.
Remember this face. Remember this name.
Lieutenant Colonel Or Ben Yehuda. A warrior who looked into the dark and answered it with fire.

I keep hearing people talk about civil war like it’s weather coming over the ridge. “Burn it down! Let the whole thing break! Start again in the ashes!”
Reckless words from folks who still have a ballot sitting on the table.
Before you speak of rifles, use the piece of paper men once crossed oceans and battlefields to earn. If you curse the Republic as dead, make damn sure you showed up while it was still breathing.
There’s nothing martial or noble about surrendering early.
A warrior doesn’t abandon the wall because the night is long. He holds until holding is impossible. He also spends every round before drawing the blade. And exhausts every lawful avenue because once blood answers politics, nobody controls what comes next.
Honor demands you MUST vote. Not because voting is sacred. Because war is.
If the darkest hour comes, let your conscience be clean enough to say you held the line until the line itself was gone.
War is the last argument of a people who have already spent every other word.

Modern academia is full of historians who do not understand history, or their own profession.
Professors approach history like any other science. They memorize dates, argue over the socio-economic conditions of 19th century France, dispute quotes and legal documents. Yet they still miss the truth.
History was never meant to be treated like a science.
For most of human existence, history was told to the young to inspire them. The old would sit and speak about their deeds and their misfortunes. They taught moral lessons, gave guidance for the future, and kept the memory of a civilization alive.
We lost that fire!
History became a subject to be catalogued instead of a story to be inherited. It stopped asking what a man should become and started asking only what a man could memorize.
Today we will look at what history was actually for, and how you can start studying it the way it was meant to be studied.

By my count this is the 9th lawsuit they have done against states and cities violating the Second Amendment.
No prior administration had even done one.

Thomas Massie has truly lost his way. This is completely false. Wow. What a traitor. What do they have on him?
I just read Massie's articles of impeachment against Hegseth and they're actually WORSE than what is being reported:
- Massie is accusing Hegseth of deliberately killing civilians based on the debunked lie that the Air Force bombed an Iranian school.
- He's accusing Hegseth of "extrajudicial killings" for blowing up Venezuelan narco boats in the Caribbean. Rand Paul was similarly going to bat for cartel members months ago. What is it with lolberts and defending violent criminal syndicates?
- He's accusing Hegseth of "suppressing free speech" by investigating Democrats like Mark Kelly who are trying to foment insurrection in the armed forces.
- And finally, the most hilarious of all, Massie accuses Hegseth of "kidnapping" Nicolas Maduro and bringing him to the U.S. to stand trial. Even libertarians I know who turned on Trump over the Iran war said the Venezuela op was a well-executed and morally defensible operation. Why do lolberts love foreign communists so much?
In any other era, a congressman like Thomas Massie would be expelled from office and thrown in prison for sedition. What a grandstanding little weasel. I remain unconvinced that libertarians aren't a fifth column within the Republican Party.
Thank GOD the voters showed Massie the door.
