I built a small WebXR app to emulate the field of view on the new Meta VR glasses compared to the Quest 3, comment to get the link:

Calling it now: the big accessory for the Meta VR is going to be eyeglass chains. Grandparents were decades ahead of the curve.

Me trying to make normal people and journalists understand this product 😮‍💨 "Yes it has a puck, they hide it in images. No it’s not better than an AVP. No it’s not really VR even if Meta calls it that.” Still excited though!

Counting down to Meta Connect purely so taking meetings in the Quest stops looking like a floating cartoon ghost having an existential crisis 💀 We are ready for real Codec Avatars, Mark.
