Black men, you will find this type of attitude towards you in every field and for every position worth having. Part of it is pure competition, and there is often a race bias or ethnic bias component.
Its not going to change. It is what it is.
Your job is to develop thick skin and a sharp sense of how to maneuver in those settings. Become relentless, become unflappable, become shared at building and deploying leverage, become so superior at your craft and the game that they simply can't deny you.
This country is the most open its ever been for us, you can still get what we want, but nothing will be given, everything must be taken and guarded jealously.
