"As a farmer, you cannot afford to be absent from the job. Your family and your business depend on action, hard work and determination to find solutions. When something goes unexpectedly on the farm, which happens more often than not, you have to move fast to solve the problem. That same sense of responsibility should happen in Congress." Great day in Dyersburg at the Rural America Roundtable with the honorable Stephen Vaden, Senator Paul Rose, Representative Rusty Grills, Representative Chris Hurt and Mayor Eric Maupin. We had a great crowd and a productive discussion about the challenges and opportunities facing rural America, particularly Northwest Tennessee. Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared your concerns and ideas. Our rural communities deserve a strong voice in Washington. I look forward to representing ALL the people of Tennessee’s 5th District—listening, working hard, and making sure every community’s voice is heard.

As a farmer, I know farming is more than a job. It’s a way of life built on faith, hard work, sacrifice, and generations of dedication. Today, we celebrate the farmers and farm families who put food on our tables, strengthen our communities, and keep Tennessee agriculture moving forward. Your work matters to every American, every day. Food security is national security, and keeping our farms strong means keeping America strong. Thank you to everyone who works the land and helps feed our nation. Happy National Farmers Day! 🌾

I was honored to be asked by the President to speak at his rally. While I may not agree with every decision or every word, I firmly support the Republican agenda: lower taxes, less regulation, secure borders, a strong military, American energy, and responsible government spending. I stand for law enforcement, the Second Amendment, religious liberty, protecting the unborn, parents’ rights, and strong family farms. My commitment is simple: make life more affordable, protect our freedoms, and leave America stronger for the next generation.

I’m deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Col. James C. Harding, USAF (Ret.), of Huntingdon, Tennessee—America’s most-decorated living military veteran. At 92 years old, Colonel Harding is an extraordinary example of service, courage, and love of country. His endorsement means a great deal to me, but above all, I’m grateful for his service and sacrifice for our nation. Thank you, Colonel Harding, for your trust and support—and for a lifetime of service to America.

It was an honor to attend the Wounded Warriors lunch at the Water Valley Community Center alongside Goose, the unofficial mayor of Leiper’s Fork, Sheriff Bucky Rowland, Senator Joey Hensley, Representative Kip Capley, and other friends from the community. Thank you to everyone who helped bring folks together to support our wounded warriors. Their courage and sacrifice—and the sacrifices of their families—deserve our lasting gratitude and support. As your Congressman, I will stand up for our veterans and work to ensure they receive the care, benefits, and respect they have earned. 🇺🇸

Great discussion this morning with Westhaven residents! I appreciated the opportunity to listen, answer questions, and share why I’m running for Congress. We welcomed lots of new supporters and handed out a lot of yard signs and plenty of hats. Thank you to Mike Ryan for organizing the gathering and to everyone who came out. Your support means a great deal. We’re working every day to earn your vote and take Tennessee’s values to Washington. Work hard. Get the job done. Serve others.

Food security is national security, and a healthier America starts with what we eat. As a farmer and veterinarian, I know the connection between healthy farms, healthy food, and healthy families. Making America Healthy Again means giving families better access to fresh, nutritious, affordable food and clear information about what’s in it. In Congress, I’ll fight to: • Strengthen American farms and our domestic food supply. • Expand access to locally grown food. • Support clear, honest food labeling. • Demand sound science and transparency in food safety. • Put better nutrition at the center of efforts to prevent chronic disease. Our farmers must be partners in building a healthier nation. Let’s give them the opportunity to do what they do best: feed America. Strong farms. Healthy families. A secure America.

Our farmers have been carrying the weight of these high diesel costs and I am confident that this partnership will bring relief to those feeding our country. I will continue to be a voice for the everyday, hardworking people. thehill.com/policy/energy-en…

“We are pleased to wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Charlie Hatcher for the House of Representatives. Charlie possesses two inseparable qualities we seek in our elected leaders – honesty and integrity. He has a demonstrated record of honoring the patriotic service and valor of our fellow veterans. We can trust Charlie to be a voice in Congress for veteran and their family members. He'll also support President Trump as he rebuilds our military and strengthens services for our fellow disabled veterans. We respectfully urge veterans and dependents families members living in the Tennessee 5th Congressional District to vote for Dr Charlie Hatcher.” — Tom Freeman and Don Belton, Co-Founders of Honor Our Veterans. I’m honored to have the unanimous endorsement of Honor Our Veterans in my campaign for Congress. I will always stand with those who have served our country.

America’s national security must always come first. Today, I’m proud to announce my priorities for strengthening our national defense, supporting our service members and veterans, and protecting Tennessee’s military communities. As your Congressman, I will work to: Maintain a strong, well-equipped military ready to defend our nation. Secure our borders and protect America from foreign threats. Keep America ahead in artificial intelligence and critical technology. Ensure service members, military families, and veterans receive the care and support they deserve. Improve military housing and quality of life while protecting Tennessee’s military installations. End DEI-based military policies and put merit, readiness, and mission requirements first. Expand education, training, and career opportunities for those who serve. Protect America’s food supply, energy, water, and other critical resources. Stand up for Tennessee’s veterans with a 100% disability rating and protect their earned benefits. From Fort Campbell to Naval Support Activity Mid-South, I will stand with Tennessee’s military communities and fight for the resources our armed forces need to defend our nation. Those who defend our freedom deserve a Congressman who will fight for them. Strong defense. Strong Tennessee. Strong America.

Farmers are getting hit hard by rising diesel costs at the worst possible time—harvest season. Louisiana, Alabama and Nebraska have already taken temporary action to give farmers and agricultural producers relief by easing restrictions on the use of dyed diesel. As a farmer and former Tennessee Commissioner of Agriculture, I know firsthand what fuel costs mean to a farming operation. Tennessee should take a serious look at providing this same kind of temporary relief for our farmers during harvest. — Charlie Hatcher

It was great to attend the Tennessee Firearms Association’s 2026 Annual Event today and visit with so many Tennesseans who share a commitment to our constitutional freedoms. I am a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, and in Congress, I will stand firm in protecting the right of law-abiding Americans to keep and bear arms. Our constitutional rights are not negotiable.

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was forever changed. We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families who have carried that loss for 25 years. September 11 reminded us what courage, service, and sacrifice truly mean. In our nation’s darkest moments, Americans came together. We stood behind those who protect us, cared for our neighbors, and showed the world the strength and resolve of the United States of America. Twenty-five years later, we must never lose sight of those lessons. We owe that to the victims, their families, the heroes who sacrificed everything, and the generations who have followed. May God bless the families who continue to carry the memories of their loved ones. May God bless those who serve and protect our nation. And may God continue to bless the United States of America. We Will Never Forget.

I am truly honored and humbled by the incredible gift presented to me by the Lewis County agricultural community. They gifted me a beautiful framed, hand-painted picture recognizing my contributions to Tennessee agriculture. The painting thoughtfully includes so many important parts of my life and career: our Century Farm, FFA, the Tennessee Farm Bureau, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, my favorite John Deere tractor, and our family veterinary practice, Rock N Country Veterinary Services. This painting tells a story of the people, values, and experiences that have shaped me, and I will treasure it for the rest of my life. It means more to me than words can adequately express. I am deeply grateful to the Lewis County Ag community for this thoughtful and humbling gesture, and for their friendship, support, and commitment to Tennessee agriculture. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Had a wonderful time last night at the 75th annual Columbia Spring Jubilee, one of the best Tennessee Walking Horse shows in the state. These horses were bred right here in Tennessee and they truly represent the very best of our equine heritage. From the proud breeders and trainers to the dedicated owners and riders, the Walking Horse community is one of our strongest rural traditions. They bring tourism, jobs, and a lot of pride to our communities. I will always fight to protect our agricultural traditions, preserve open spaces, and support the families who keep this legendary breed thriving. It was extra special having my granddaughter Charlie with me. She had a blast learning about the horses and the whole equine world. These are the moments that make it all worthwhile. Tennessee Walking Horses are more than beautiful animals. They are a symbol of who we are as Tennesseans, hardworking and resilient. charliehatcher.com #ColumbiaSpringJubilee #TennesseeWalkingHorses #HatcherForCongress #TennesseeStrong #AmericaFirst
