Rehearsals for our autumn 2022 programme begin on Tuesday 13th September, at 7.30pm, in All Saints' Church, Haslingfield. We'll be preparing for a performance of Handel's wonderful pastoral opera, Acis and Galatea, on Saturday 3 December.
New singers are always welcome!
What a wonderfully uplifting premiere of Haslingfield Tapestry, by @alexpaxtonyeah! It was enormously exhilarating to be performing again, and a joyous treat to welcome 50 children from local schools. Thanks to the #adoptaconposer scheme @MakingMusic_UK for making this possible.
Hugely looking forward to the next Haslingfield Choir @HaslingfieldCho concert, on Saturday 16th October, when we (finally) perform our @MakingMusic_UK Adopt a Composer commission, Haslingfield Tapestry, composed by the remarkable Alex Paxton @alexpaxtonyeah.
We're thrilled to announce that Haslingfield Choir has been selected for one of the seven national Adopt a Composer awards, run by @MakingMusic_UK. Very excited to be working with composer Alex Paxton and mentor Jenni Pinnock! #AdoptaComposer @alexpaxtonyeah @JenniPinnock
