The biggest mistake most traders make isn't entering a bad trade; it’s failing to manage the risk before they even click "buy" or "sell." 📊As a full-time trader, I can tell you that market charts are only 20% of the game. The other 80% is how you protect your capital. If you risk 5% to 10% of your account on a single position, you are not trading—you are gambling. One bad market streak can completely wipe you out.To survive in this game long-term, you must look at risk first and profit second. Always aim for a risk-to-reward ratio of at least 1:2 or 1:3. This means even if you lose half of your trades, your winning trades will always keep you highly profitable. Protect your capital like your life depends on it, because your trading career definitely does. Keep your charts raw, keep your risk tight, and let the math do the work. 📉💼#TradingTips #RiskManagement #FXTrading #ForexTrader #MarketPsychology #PriceAction #FinancialFreedom

If I could go back 5 years and speak to myself on day one of my trading journey, I would hand myself these 3 brutal truths to save thousands of dollars:The Demo Trap: Demo accounts are good for mechanics, but they teach you zero emotional control. Transition to a small live account quickly to feel the real psychological weight. The Journal Priority: Your trading journal is more important than any paid course. If you aren't logging your entries, exits, and emotions daily, you are running in circles. The Loneliness Tax: Your friends and family won't understand what you do. Find a solid circle of real traders who speak your language. To everyone in their first or second year: Hang in there. The learning curve is steep, but the view from the top is worth it. 🧗♂️How many years have you been in the market? Let me know below! 👇#TradingJourney #TraderLife #PropFirm #FinancialFreedom

Most points programs reward noise.
The more you click, the higher you climb.
I stopped taking those seriously a while ago.
Then I looked at @2factorfinance Points Program and noticed something different.
Marks are only given for verified social activity, education, and referrals. Buying, depositing, or holding gives you nothing. That already changes the game.
The product itself is trying to solve a real problem with leveraged exposure. Instead of forcing you to babysit positions or get liquidated by an external engine, it splits one asset into two perpetual sides. The senior side takes more protection. The junior side takes more of the move and pays for that protection.
Even the junior side is not risk-free. It can still lose money. The difference is that the design removes the forced liquidation trigger that usually decides the outcome for you.
Season 1 only tracks participation through Marks. When the season ends and the product launches, the leaderboard freezes. The top 10 split 1 BTC, paid in cbBTC.
I’m not here just to farm a number. I’m here because the program actually rewards people who try to understand what they are participating in.
Here’s my link if you want to join and start building your own position:

What was the last points program that actually made you study the product instead of just completing tasks?
