In reality I just hate quest campers or people who do nothing but mpg oriented stuff, makes it feel like their work is completely unoriginal. Not to mention that I just dislike most FAs and ranking them is rewarded in many aspects. It feels like mappers don't map for fun nowadays

pretty much every aspect you could point out out of modern "slop" is a mildly exaggerated form of what wouldve 100% happened over time regardless of the advent of pp, with the maybe sole exception of intentional diffspike abuse, something which is already dying out as pp improves

This was talked about in various other threads but yes the average pp map would look totally different if metas were different, no such thing as natural progression into the most optimized 1-2 jumps ever I think. Unless I'm wrong then neither of us can prove it anyway
