Quick little comparison because I was surprised to find that my maxed out Bitaxes + a NerdQaxe getting ~13-14 TH/s are actually collectively more noisy than my S19j Pro Loki Rig which is getting ~36 TH/s (I quoted the wrong output in the video). This obviously only applies to people pushing their smaller miners to their limits and my Bitaxe setups are the real noise offenders as opposed to the NerdQ, but I still found it interesting.
~63db on the Bitaxes, ~57db on the Loki.
About ~18 J/TH collectively on the little guys, 24 J/TH and 50C boards on the Loki in a 72F room.
2x 602's + Duo + NerdQ Rev 6 + Meanwell PSU's + 12v fans = ~$600+.
1x used S19j Pro Loki rig + Arctic P12 Pro fans = under $300 and less noise. 👀

Genuine question:
Do you mind developers using you and your mining hardware as a test bench, having you do the work to find bugs and then constantly pushing bug fix updates?
Or do you prefer updates which land properly executed, and where your hardware isn’t used for the testing?
It’s becoming genuinely difficult to keep quiet about what I’ve been working on…

When seemingly every major update is immediately followed by several bug-fix updates, it’s fair to ask how ready it was to ship in the first place. New features matter, but not when they require users’ mining setups becoming the beta run.
Customers should be able to install an update with confidence. Understanding the code and properly testing what you ship are part of the job as a developer, whatever tools you use.
Hashboard’s releases don’t come with that routine cyclical requirement of immediate repairs, and that’s a standard we intend to keep.
Your mining setup shouldn’t have to double as a developer’s test environment.
Toughest thing about having new ideas is being excited and wanting to tell people about it… 😈
But the first rule of developing in the mining space is you do not talk about what you’re developing in the mining space.
We may not be a big name or have a ton of money behind us to pay for sponsored influencer videos or getting backed by big mining companies like our competition, but we are still positively leading on innovation because you can’t buy that. They also don’t like that we’re loud about it…

Both of these advancements can now be found in/from multiple other “leading” offerings, amongst other innovations of ours.
Our next update introduces another feature not found in any other apps and an entirely new and never done before functionality (yes, we’re doing it again), alongside all the usual inclusions you’d expect like more firmware support, etc.
You can get the new features from us on launch day, or wait 4-5 months for the others to copy us again. 🫡
