So have spoken with @holcottagesuk and been told that despite their website offering flexibility with amendments to bookings that my booking as booked through @Airbnb is not covered. So I can either make the trip (which I can’t) or suck up the loss. Really poor.
Really disappointed that @holcottagesuk refuse to allow an amendment to an @Airbnb booking. Giving no option of a date change and no refund option is really poor. Won’t be using them again for work or pleasure.
Interested to hear whether anyone else has experienced extremely poor levels of customer service from @holcottagesuk?
Looking for a wedding venue.. nothing flash.. something where 40-50 people can stay for a couple of nights.. within 2hrs of London.. any recommendations? On a budget but want it to look like I’m not 😆 please help!!

People of car twitter I’m reaching out as my car was badly hit by a sightseeing bus in London today at around 16:30 on Mount street in Mayfair, London. Witnesses say it was an open top bus operated by @bigbustours. I’ve reported to the police and filed a report. Any videos??
Good news this morning is that I have spoken to the operations director of @bigbustours and they have acknowledged the incident and I hope they will sort things out now
@bigbustours you need to investigate this as your driver hit my car and drove off.. lots of damage to your bus as well I suggest you DM me as your driver is reported for leaving the scene. Gathering CCTV and I have 2 witnesses
@hjwakerley I know you have a large following in central London.. are you able to share to your network.. really upset a bus driver hit my car.. loads of car spotters on that street tonight looking at much nicer cars than mine!
This time last week was surreal.. In LA watching #OasisLive25 at the #RoseBowl.. it was everything I could have ever wanted and made even more special to be there with my sons.. making memories is all that counts in life… what memories we made!

My suspicion is the FCA will within weeks announce consultation on a redress scheme for discretionary commission cases. You may not even have to claim it ,could be automatic. And with excessive commissions I suspect more guidance will come on that at a similar time.
If you sign up to a claims firm now, you may have to give it a cut even if it does nothing. So just sit on your hands for now.
