Quoting our @tsleilwaututh friends, today is "... an opportunity for the broader community to join hands with us on this journey of truth and of reconciliation, partnering with us to advance economic and environmental sustainability and empowering our young people to thrive."
Our North Shore Rent Bank continues to support renters needing help - thanks to @vancitycommfdn and @BCRentBank. New funding is timely given the extremely difficult rental marketplace. Here's more info: harvestproject.org/rent-bank…

You know what’s awesome? My wife (and most favorite human ever) @nicmaier and her group of friends have raised almost $12,000 in one week for the @HarvestProject which will help many families in need. Awesome work.

There is a housing crisis in Metro Van. 62,000 low-income households pay more than 50% of their income on housing. Shifting 70% of the newly constructed rentals towards non-market = almost 75,000 more affordable homes for low-income households. Read our report @vancitycommfdn
