No employee at Politico got paid yesterday. First time ever the company missed a pay period. This is a crisis.
Now we learn Politico — a “news company” — which spent the last 10 years trying to destroy the MAGA Movement was being massively funded by USAID.
Trump & Elon deleted their funding.
Now Politico will go out of business.
The corruption is endless.

This morning I had a very productive meeting at the Office of the Governor with Governor Josh Green and Consul General of Japan in Honolulu, Hideaki Chotoku.
We discussed U.S. Customs and Immigration preclearance in Japan and a direct flight corridor between Japan and Hawaiʻi, building on the Memorandum of Collaboration and Understanding I signed on Maui.
✈️ Preclearance would let Japanese visitors complete U.S. entry before they board, so they land ready to enjoy the islands.
🌴 That means easier travel, stronger tourism, and more support for local businesses.
🤝 It also deepens the friendship between our two nations.
Hawaiian tourism stands to benefit immensely, and we’re committed to taking this from discussion to implementation.
