Built your site with AI? Here's how cooked each flaw is. Preview mode robots.txt blocking everything: 7 Same default title on every page: 7 Lorem ipsum left in: 7 Client side rendering, not SSR: 6 AI slop design: 3 No sitemap: 2 Fix the 7s first.

The AI search tracking tools I'd start with are free. Microsoft Clarity: which AI bots visit your site. Bing Webmaster Tools: how often Copilot cites you. Add a tracker like Peec once your questions are set. Clarity AI Bot Auditor → link in bio (type CLARITY)

Your business name might be written three ways online. Google and AI cross-check your details across the web. Copy name, address and phone from your Google Business Profile. Paste it everywhere, word for word. Google patents, explained → link in bio (type PATENT)

Want to know what customers ask ChatGPT? Check your inbox. Keyword tools don't see those questions. 1. Ask Gemini in Gmail to pull the questions that keep coming up 2. Make each one a page that answers it properly The AI Keyword Sheet → link in bio (type KEYWORD SHEET)

Google has a patent explaining why one good backlink can beat a thousand spammy ones: the Reasonable Surfer. Links are weighted by how likely a real person is to click them. Every way to get backlinks → link in bio (type BACKLINKS)

Most AI search problems have one fix that should come first. AI never quotes you: Structure, then Credibility. ChatGPT's never heard of you: Offsite. Starting with PR? Structure first. They multiply, so the weakest one drags everything down. Fix that first.

$350 one-off to get recommended by ChatGPT? Getting recommended isn't a job you finish. It keeps moving. One thing a month: 1. A review that names the job 2. A mention in your trade's publication 3. One page answering a customer's question Keep doing it.

In Google Shopping, your product title is your keyword. Sunset Beach Vibes: vague. Scented Candle, Soy Wax, Sunset Beach: what shoppers search. Free Claude skill: rejected products first, then titles. Merchant Center Optimizer → link in bio (type MERCHANT)

Some of your direct traffic is probably ChatGPT. Google Analytics: Reports > Engagement > Landing page. Add session source and medium. Typed visits usually hit the homepage. Deep blog posts? Some of that is probably AI. Check landing pages, not the total.
32
Half the sites I audit have redirect chains. Ten-minute fix: 1. Crawl in Screaming Frog 2. Pull the Redirect Chains report 3. Point redirects straight at the final URL 4. Point internal links at the live URL Free Screaming Frog Analyser → link in bio (type FROG)
24
The predictability test: could someone write your page by reading five others? If yes, polish won't save it. Add what only you have: 1. Your sharpest opinion 2. A number from your jobs 3. Something that didn't work Information Gain Finder → link in bio (type INFO)
6
Other sites probably mention your business without linking to you. 1. Search your name in quotes on Google, leave your own site out 2. Email each: thanks for the mention, here's the page to link to About 1 in 4 add it. The rest still help AI know who you are.

Everyone's publishing the same AI blog post. Want AI to quote yours? Get Claude to interview you first. 1. Give it one real job you've done 2. It asks what went wrong, what it cost 3. Put your answers in the page Information Gain Finder → link in bio (type INFO GAIN)
13
AI search is hurting a few types of websites. Probably not yours. Hurting: ad-funded blogs, affiliate sites, middlemen. Fewer clicks. Fine: the plumber, the clinic, the online store. Buyers still land on a website. Local AI SEO strategy → link in bio (type SMALLBIZ)
19
My Chief of Staff Lawrence graded Google results for six years. We ranked Google's own documents. Biggest fight: patents. They show what Google could do, not what it does. The other fight: Googlers on X. My Google patents breakdown → link in bio (type PATENTS)

How cooked is your site architecture? 5/5: pages missing from nav, broken canonicals, no hreflang on international sites 3/5: broken sitemap, deep URLs, filter crawl traps, indexed site search 1/5: pagination without proper markup Fix the 5s first.
12
You don't need a brand new idea to stand out in AI search. You need your own numbers. What your jobs actually cost. How long they took. What your customers keep asking. Nobody else has that. Use AI all you want, just give Google something it's never seen.
8
A client cut 47 off-topic pages. Traffic up 34% in 60 days. Google's leaks mention a site focus score. Check Search Console first. Keep pages with clicks or links. Redirect the rest to your best match. Google's ranking patents → link in bio (type PATENT)

Every time an SEO says something complicated, ask them to say it again in English. Indexation: is the page in Google at all. E-E-A-T: can we trust you. GEO, AEO, LLMO: mostly SEO with a new acronym. None of it is hard. It's kept complicated.

9 publications. Didn't pay a journalist a cent. Hand them a story, not your brand. 1. Recon: what your audience asks 2. Analyse: get real proof 3. Infiltrate: 20-30 journalists 4. Deploy: short pitch 5. Score RAIDS Protocol, step by step → link in bio (type RAIDS)
