So proud of Weichen’s presentation in ASAASJ Honolulu meeting! Since completing her master’s degree, she has built strong expertise in bioacoustic analysis and is now making exciting progress in fish bioacoustics research in mesophotic coral reefs.
Flying to Honolulu for #ASAASJ acoustic society meeting. I will share our progress of deepsea chorus research on Thursday morning. Our team will also make two presentations about reef fish and humpback whale bioacoustics. Looking forward to see friends there!
Article alert! Our results reveal that while dead coral structures can serve as shelters for mobile fish recruits, live corals are essential for supporting long-term biodiversity.
