Thank you so much, Daryl, for your lovely message and sharing of our mission! Harmony Project wishes you an amazing birthday filled with music and community! Thank you for sharing the info about us. We are very grateful for your advocacy in looking to empower our mission! 🧡🎶
Today is my 38th birthday!!! 🥳
I would love it if you listened to my singing debut song "Space & Time" or my 4-part symphonic album Starlight Fantasia today 💛 but what would truly make my day is if you were to donate to @HarmonyProject or a similar charity!
Harmony Project provides high quality, free, and accessible music education to youth in low-income and under-resourced communities in LA.
As many of you know, I grew up in poverty, and was thus gatekept out of the classical world I longed to be a part of. While I was able to teach myself and eventually find my way to music, not everyone in my position is met with the same luck.
Harmony Project's mission resonates with me because I dream of a world where every child with a dream can be supported and empowered <3
As we honor Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month, we chatted with one of our teachers, Alberto, to discuss his music connection to his Salvadorian culture, how it has influenced his career as a working musician, and how he honors his heritage. Check it out!
