#OTin2026 Takeaway for 10/16: "I'm not feeling it" cannot alter/compromise one syllable of God's commitments to His people. My confidence in the Lord's promises being fulfilled in the future should rest in the zeal of His heart and soul to do so... He wants it for me more than I do!!! (Incredible after how many ways I have hurt/disappointed/failed Him on my own.) ~ Jer 32:41

#OTin2026 Takeaway for 10/15: I hate to admit how long it has taken for me to fully appreciate and yield to the following truth: There is no accountability measure or behavior modification technique that can keep me from sinning; it is only through immersion in/loyalty to God's Word that I can: 1) Keep my feet from EVERY EVIL WAY. (101) 2) Keep my mind/heart from EVERY FALSE WAY. (104) It truly is a simple and complicated as that. ~ Psalm 119

#OTin2026 Takeaway for 10/14: When I feel stuck in life, relationships, and ministry, I am tempted to shut down/check out. Nothing could be further out of sync with the God whose got my future (11) and wants me to presently: 1) Work to physically and relationally to INCREASE right where I am. (5-6) 2) Seek and pray for the PEACE of right where I am. (7) ~ Jeremiah 29

#OTin2026 Takeaway for 10/13: Nowhere do I have under-appreciate the implications of what God has done for me than His Spirit taking up residence in me. God carefully keeps track of all His "vessels"; therefore, He must care about me-no matter how much of a failure or forgotten I feel-as the present vessel/temple in which resides His Spirit. Despite the twists, turns, and setbacks, He's intimately got me! ~ Je. 27:21-22

#OTin2026 Takeaway for 10/12: Where things get off between me and the Lord is when I ask for Him to "deal bountifully" with me...for me. The only proper motivation to ask for God's FAVOR is to better live a life aligned with His WORD. ~ Psalm 119:17
