Shameful silencing of a woman elected officer at the end of Conference. Do you support the stifling of democracy and freedom of speech?

Left speechless by Stalinesque move by #LabourParty HQ pulling plug on electrifying, closing words by Kathryn Johnson at #LondonLabour2021 because she reminded conference what the Labour movement is about 🌹✊🏽 speaking for the many not the few #KathrynJohnson4LabourLeader

Standard Blairite fare to try show how strong a leader you are by taking on your own party but bizarre to do it by expelling people, most of whom have left already. Looks desperate when what is needed is restoration of whip to Jeremy Corbyn, publication of Ford & taking on Tories

There is not enough time in the day to thank everyone who has had my back over the past few days. THANK YOU ALL SOO MUCH πŸ₯°β€ It proves just how much people care about our democracy and keeping others safe. Thanks to all the front line workers doing amazing jobs πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ€—πŸ’™

Gary Neville is spot on in this interview. The country increasingly needs to recognise that we have a Prime Minister who is someone not only willing to turn a blind eye to racism but has used racism over the years for his own benefit whether as a journalist or politician.
Powerful & articulate words from the superb @GNev2. Everyone should watch this xitter.cf/ScottishSalami/status/…

We’re disgusted that some of our squad – who have given everything for the shirt this summer – have been subjected to discriminatory abuse online after tonight’s game. We stand with our players ❀️

Racist abuse of any kind is abhorrent and will not be tolerated on or off the pitch. @MetPoliceUK will investigate the appalling online abuse aimed at England players. Social media companies must take immediate action to remove and prevent this hate.

😑 @NatalieElphicke we see you. This football team has more grace style and class in their big toe than you in your whole ugly body.

If you believe this why do you encourage it in almost everything you say and do.
I am disgusted that @England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media. It has no place in our country and I back the police to hold those responsible accountable.

Police have launched a murder investigation following the tragic death of a young man in Hornsey yesterday. My condolences to his family and friends. This is the first shooting in our community for a long time. If you can help the inquiry, please πŸ“ž 101 & quote CAD5570/08Jun

Today @SophieKLinden and I met with and the organisers of #ReclaimTheseStreets to discuss the events of the last few days. It's clear that urgent action is needed to make public spaces across the country safer for women and girls.

Nurses have seen us through this crisis and saved many lives; if Β£37 billion can be found to pay SERCO for a failed Track & Trace system, surely we should just pay NHS staff properly. You can't clap for NHS workers and cut their pay at the same time.
