S2's have been welcomed back to Art with a short review of previous learning before the summer. Picture Bingo is an excellent way to teach/ review subject specific tier 2 and 3 vocabulary and can develop both written and oracy skills

Delighted to be welcoming our pupils back to school today. Today is the first in our series of #OutAndAboutAtHarlaw where we will tweet about what our pupils are doing in school. Today, all pupils experienced a “Welcome back” assembly. Great to be back in our Assembly Hall!

You can use our handy 'decision tree' tool for info on what to consider before submitting an appeal: bit.ly/3P2Zqy6 [3/3]
HarlawParentCouncil retweeted
Before you submit an appeal, it’s a good idea to talk to your teacher or lecturer. They will be able to talk you through your options.
However, the final decision is yours. [2/3]

If you're thinking about submitting a priority appeal through our Direct Appeal option for learners, you have until 11.59 pm tonight to do so - but don't worry, you can still ask your teacher or lecturer to submit a priority appeal on your behalf until Friday 19 August. [1/3]

Good luck to all our pupils today. Whether you have surpassed your own ambitions, perhaps not done as as well as you had hoped or landed somewhere in between, remember we are proud of the hard work you have put in throughout the most difficult three years!

A group of 15 photography pupils from Harlaw visited Winter Gardens in Duthie Park on Monday. This was to generate course materials for a site specific project brief created by Ms Nairns. Pupils were delighted to spend time investigating the various glass houses & their contents.
