I'm so happy to see so many people reliving their childhood playing Cricket 07 again! I still remember my late father taking me to a local shop to get a modded IPL 2008 version of the game. It was one of the first few games he bought me. I'll always think about that day when I remember my Dad. This game holds an incredibly special place in my heart, I'm glad I was able to share it with so many of you ❤️

The experience of Hindu festivals in Mangalore-Udupi area is divine and unique. Dasara, Ganesh Chaturthi are so grand. With so many temples big & small you can feel the fervour. The volunteers, processions, the lights, decor, devotion, the sight of people gathering in small rural marigudi and other temples for puja, feasts & prasada served for thousands each day - it's a blessed region of Karnataka

Ever noticed this while driving on Indian highways? The highway is usually black asphalt, but as you approach a toll plaza, the road suddenly becomes concrete. Got curious and searched why. At toll plazas, vehicles slow down, stop and accelerate again — and heavy trucks can remain stationary for long periods. This creates much higher static loads, braking forces and concentrated tyre pressure than normal highway cruising. Asphalt can deform under these conditions over time — causing rutting, depressions and waves in the surface. Concrete is much more rigid and handles these repeated heavy loads better. It also deals better with fuel/oil spills and generally needs less frequent maintenance. So the concrete patch isn't random. The road material itself changes because the way vehicles use the road changes

Sion Bridge is a small but critical railway bridge in Mumbai It was 112 years old. The govt realized after 112 years old that it is 112 years old and needs to be replaced. They said it would take 2 years to replace a 60 mtr bridge. When the Bridge was there it took me 45 mins to get to office and 1 hour to get back. Since the bridge is demolished, I spend one and a half hours to reach office and an hour and 45 minutes to get back. That is one and half additional hours in commute, every day, for the last two years Which makes it 7.5 hours a week Or 390 extra hours a year. Which becomes 780 extra hours over the last two years That's a 32 extra days spent on commute over the last two years. Or one whole month. Just on commute This is extra or over and above the 32 days I anyway used to spend on commute in two years. And this is just me. And there are thousands like me One small bridge. One massive impact. Hope the govt completes it soon. That's all we ask

Alaipayuthey & Kandukondain Kandukondain released within a month of each other & KG Cinemas in Coimbatore were running house full shows for both films. Both albums by ARR. What a time that was ❤️ I still remember girls screaming on Maddy's intro. Breathtaking frames, stunning music & a love story that explored what happens after the wedding, beyond the conventional 'happily ever after'. People often compare OK Kanmani to this but to me, there will never be another Alaipayuthey. A time, a soundtrack, a love story and an experience that can never quite be recreated ❤️
Every frame in this song is wallpaper material

Why is credit card interest treated as a taxable "service" when standard loan interest is exempt? This is pushing middle-class consumers straight into debt traps. Time for a rational cap and GST exemption on finance charges. @FinMinIndia @nsitharaman @RBI @GST_Council

Everyone who cares about the Hindustan Times & its unique place in India’s newspaper history owes a huge debt of gratitude to Sukumar (@HT_Ed ) who played such an important role in stabilising the paper and running it with flair, skill, decency & fairness It’s not easy to run a paper in these times with political & financial pressures but Sukumar never let that bother him & produced the finest paper in India . When the history of the HT is written his contribution will remain among the high points and he will be remembered as one of the paper’s best editors

This is exactly what I was telling my friend the other day.
I again request the GoI. As these protests are resolved, India must: - Ban social media for under 13 - Moderate social media for under 18 - Regulate social media companies - Mandate a reporting tool under every post to GoI - Setup a SM/M monitoring & response cell - Study & research social media trends & Algo - Take up propaganda on state media with countries - Take up anti-Indian SM psyops with partners - Monitor and control "finfluencers" farms - Start units that can counter the infowar on India And I hope India is using the current opportunity to study social media operations, organization, and algorithmic warfare of the adversaries on India. To take the right corrective measures soon, understanding that adversaries and anti-india cabal have infiltrated SM companies with insiders. So simple ad-hoc solutions like MPs, or even cyber armies, posting our narrative on Insta now is going to solve little, as algorithm will still suppress one side and amplify the other. @PMOIndia @HMOIndia @narendramodi @AmitShah @MIB_India @AshwiniVaishnaw @MEAIndia @DrSJaishankar @FinMinIndia @nsitharaman @KirenRijiju
